I have my own ophthalmologist, so not necessary to see a doctor there. I bring my prescription in. This is my go to place for glasses, progressives and sunglasses. Staff is very friendly and helpful . I'm very happy with my glasses when I get them. You can return anytime with adjustments too. read more

First time here, got an eye exam and new prescription. Two weeks later I received my glasses. I put them on and couldn't see anything. I notified the woman helping me, she told me to let my eyes adjust. I told her they don't need to adjust something's wrong. She stated everything is correct on the paper and to come back in two weeks. read more

Horrible experience. Shoddy, extremely brief exam. When I asked for my presecription was told the doctor left without writing it. When I complained, girls laughed and said this happens all the time. No call when contact lenses came in. They may have called me; they dont' have records like that. wouldn't say when the lenses came in, or were sent back. Now won't provide lenses as I insisted I need the prescription to go elsewhere. read more

Staff lied to me saying that there is a law preventing them from giving me my IPD. They also overcharged me for lenses that were covered by my insurance. After realizing I'd been scammed I went back and canceled my order. AVOID AT ALL COSTS read more

You can't call the store their number dumps into a generic call center who has 2 hour hold times and hangs up on you. I finally got them to call me back and gave them a fax for my prescription. Impossible to reach. Have been trying to reach them for days for my mother. Emergency or not. Same automated loop for their corporate 800#. Not every senior patient uses a computer! If I could give negative stars I would. First, I took my 10 year old daughter here back in December to see Dr. Crowley and was extremely disappointed with the way he treated her! He had no patience with my daughter and at one point raised his voice in frustration. Granted, her appointment was the last appointment of the day and the Dr. was rushing to go home..she is a child and an eye exam can be challenging and patience is something this doctor did not possess. I highly recommend NOT taking children here. Along with the bad experience, he dropped the ball on her diagnosis. After wearing the prescription glasses he prescribed for a few months we noticed her eye conditions getting worse! We got a second opinion and the Dr. Crowley gave her a prescription that was to strong!! I will re state, I do not recommend taking a child to this Dr. read more

They never ever answer the phone. You have to drive there and deal with them in person. There is no other way to contact them. I have tried everything. It always ring right to a national call center where you have to sit on hold for an hour only to not be helped at all. This has happened multiple times to me since July. I have told them about the problem. No one seems interested. No one in my family will ever deal with this place again. I am going to have to get my daughter a new exam now and start all over somewhere else. read more

The girls here are really nice and the new doctor they have is awesome and she really cares about her patients. I'm saying this because I see A LOT of reviews on this other doctor that used to be there. Well apparently they listened because AFAIK he's no longer there. The employees are all very COVID conscience and careful, masks, gloves, sanitizer everywhere, etc... The only thing that's wrong with this place that doesn't seem to ever change but seriously needs to is that you can NEVER get someone on the phone here!! I have been on hold listening to this stupid wannabe Cotton Club bulls*** for over 40 minutes now. The first time I called it was over a half hour. I found out the calls go to a customer service center that answer calls for the store. WHY?? That's ridiculous when there are like 5 people working there. Hire a young man or woman that needs a little part time job just answering phones and making appointments. IDK, what do I know? Anyway my glasses were ready in 3 days, there's not a lot of variety for any nice or cool looking glasses that insurance covers. You're gonna have to pay out of pocket if you want something decent. The ones that insurance cover almost all of them look the same so you really have to take your time when choosing if you wanna find something half decent. But the girls were nice, the woman helping me with my glasses was awesome and the doctor was really professional, caring and polite. read more

The optometrist was so rude that it made me uncomfortable. I felt like a little girl getting scolded the whole time. I almost left mid-appointment. I had to remind him I also worked in healthcare and that his attitude should not reflect the quality of day he was having, and that I was doing my best. I only went because my vision insurance plan gives me an extra discount on their glasses. Next year I will go to a real eye doctor, and pay more for my glasses, rather than go here again. read more

This place is always too busy. They overbook for eye exams all the time and it ends up being a two hour wait every time I come in. Last visit here, a woman walked out because she couldn't wait for her exam anymore. Then after my exam I was told to sit and wait. I waited for an hour for someone to help me before I walked out. They didn't even notice or call me afterwards. I'm going to a real eye doctor from now on. read more

Susan is wonderful, amazing, terrific (insert your adjective here) to work with. I visited this store back in 2014, and at that time there were only two people assisting customers. The place was packed but Susan and Vicky kept their cool and everyone was taken care of. At no time did we feel rushed to pick out our glasses. Jump forward to 2019 and Susan and Vicky are still going strong taking care of their customers with true professionalship and care. read more

Says they take walk ins. They do not. No one in the store except my wife and they were "booked". Do not put sign on door that you take walk-ins if you can't. Asked what my insurance covers (nationally well known company) and after taking my social security number verbally (not professional) was told I don't know we would have to call. Sorry. I didn't go to the doctor here, just needed a replacement pair of glasses after a pair I bought at a different Visionworks broke. The staff here was so nice, helpful, and friendly. Both times I went in, I was treated so well. There were two women who helped me, I forget their names, but they were both good. I am surprised to see such bad reviews, I had a better customer service experience here than I ever had at another optometrist's office. Again, I didn't have an exam or anything, but the glasses buying process was great. read more

I needed new glasses, long story short it has taken well over a month to get my new glasses prescription was wrong last time, went and got my glasses today, after the doctor (who was very nice) re-examined me, they are still wrong I can see distance but not close up. Please don't waste your time here. It's a factory. Got my prescription wrong. The machine keeps fogging up so I kept saying something. He stated he knows it keeps doing that! This place has the worst customer service. I went with my girlfriend for her appointment and first, the older woman at front spoke to her like she was a toddler. She then would not wait for my girlfriend to get out her insurance info and just assumed she didn't have it and insisted on beginning tests. Furthermore, the optometrist was even ruder and made my girlfriend give her phone to her due to the fact that it was on her lap. Is this middle school? Lastly, she said she was a waste of her time for needing a certain prescription, which they would have to order. However, we already knew this, as they have had to be ordered at many other places. Overall, all we needed them to do was order contacts and they instead treated their clients like garbage. read more

The customer service here is lacking with many of the associates. The first time I came for an eye exam, the doctor told me she wasn't going to go over the contact lens information because it was too busy and she didn't have time. Alright, well, thanks. After getting a trial pair of lenses that hurt my eyes, the doctor ordered another pair. They took two weeks to come in and I never received a call. After suffering with contacts that I couldn't see in and that hurt me, I went into the office. The younger guy who helped me said "oh yeah, they've been here for a couple days". He was pretty rude, looked like he just rolled out of bed, and didn't apologize for the lack of a phone call, informing me my contacts had arrived. I'm upset everything is taking so long- nothing is occurring in a timely manner. Some of the female associates on the floor are very nice, but after experience the customer service provided by the doctor and younger male associate, and waiting so long just to get a correct contact lens prescription, I will not be returning here once I have finished up this process. read more

Horrible service. Glasses were incorrect 3 times and then was told that they would reinstate my vision benefits but left out that it would not include the eye exam. If I want new glasses I will have to pay for the exam out of pocket. My husbands glasses were wrong twice before they got it right. No apologies were ever offered. This place is extremely unprofessional and atrocious. The employees, doctors, and lense makers must have been hired off the street with 0 education. I received my first pair of glasses from them, and the lenses were totally wrong. This was something they tried to blame me for and were persistent that my eyes needed time to adjust. I know my own vision thank you very much. I don't need your awful company to patronize me and challenge my intelligence as if I dont know what I'm talking about. One week later, I was given a new appointment. They didn't even admit or acknowledge any fault, but they did cut me a new pair of lenses. Same problem as the first time. I could immediately tell, and mentioned that these lenses were wrong again. They told me they couldn't see me for another week, to which I angrily persisted that they WOULD see me tomorrow. Extremely unprofessional to mess up my glasses not once, but twice and then blow me off like I'm going to be willing to wait another week to be able to see. Went in again and they assumed no blame. In fact they tried to blame my eyes rather than their poor work. I wasn't offered any refund, not even an apology for going more than 2 weeks without glasses and 2 bad pairs to show for it. They refunded the glasses, but didn't refund my eye exam. I wasnt provided another one. I assume because their mistake would have then been uncovered and God forbid this company assumes fault for anything or owns up to their own failures. So I left with no glasses after all of this grief and will never support this company again. In fact, it is my mission to put them out of business single handedly. Excuse me, but I know when I can and cant see. Extremely poor service and attitudes. These people are terribly disrespectful and provided near the worst service I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and never go here. Tell your friends and family to avoid this company at all costs. Even corporate assumed no blame without even looking into anything. They just blindly defended the company. Please use capitalism to your advantage and spend your money elsewhere so these people make none. You've been warned. I must admit, my first experience here left much to be desired. The optometrist pretty much told me my vision was blurry because my eyes were "tired." When I went back to get a second opinion from the female optometrist, she was much more helpful, and explained to me that the reason my vision was blurry was because I needed a higher number, which my current contact brand did not carry. If the first optometrist would have explained this to me, I would have easily accepted that and we could have went from there, but his parting words to me were, "Good luck with that," referring to the prescription that wasn't quite up to par. I was impressed to have the female optometrist, who you can tell truly cares about her patients, and their experience at Visionworks. I may need to go back (again) to get these new contacts checked out, but my perspective now is much different now that I know one of the optometrists truly cares for their patients and wants the best for them. read more
