I have a large house on a hill and wanted to get a consult on the situation where the house sinking in the front corner. Brian Novotny came and examined the house situation. He provided several options and eventually settled with 5 piers to secure the house from further moving as the most cost effective way and provide peace of mind. On the day of work Ben Conner, Ben Leit, Issac Garcia and Keonne Hernandez came as a team and did an awesome job. I was very impressed with the initial contact, confirming any issues prior to work start, explaining the process and steps, etc. What impressed me the most was the small details of their work. A team talk about the job prior to work, parking their heavy truck on the street instead of the driveway to avoid any potential damage to customer driveway, putting back plants even though that was not part of their job, warning about the high noise periods, time and care to make sure the concrete patch was done to the best of the ability etcetc. I can tell these guys have been around awhile and know their stuff and consider customer satisfaction first. Now the piers are in place, although my job was not to raise the house one door that was barely dragging now closes without dragging after there work was done. Definitely recommended but be aware it is quite a lot of work and periods of very loud noise. read more

It took us a few years to get serious about the repair of our 50 year old home's foundation - None of the nation-wide companies we'd talked with had felt exactly 'right'. Earlier this year a neighbor recommended Dalinghaus, and we're so grateful they did. Every Dalinghaus employee we worked with has gone above and beyond to provide complete information, great service and high quality work. Mark, our Project Specialist, inspected the house, put our proposal together, and put us at ease by being available for dozens of questions. Project foreman Ben Conner and his team Isaac G and Ben L were a pleasure to work with during the repair - Ben C prepped us for what we'd experience during the project, kept in close touch @ any schedule changes, made sure the area stayed as clean as possible after the work day. Thomas came into the house on the last day, made almost imperceptible cuts in carpeting and blew in the foam to support the foundation. Again, he left the work space clean and picked up. After consulting with the three foundation repair companies available in the Tucson area, I decided on Dalinghaus. It has now taken over two months to finally get the repair completed. I would give the company five stars, but there were a few issues that prevented me for doing so. I must give kudos to the two excellent workers who did most of the work. Steve and Thomas did the best job possible under some taxing issues. I could see that they were trying to provide the best customer service in this situation. Some of the tiles in my living room buckled (and one tile cracked), so I taped off the area and called Dalinghaus Construction to come check it out. The inspector, Thomas Cochran, took measurements throughout my house and looked for any cracks in the walls or ceilings (he was very thorough). Then he explained that the foundation of my house seemed fine, but that due to the shifting soil (that many homeowners in AZ have to deal with) my tiles had shifted over time and buckled. He advised me to wait 6 months to allow the floor to settle and then call him to re-take the measurements to monitor the progression of the settling. If everything was fine at that point, he said I could get the floor re-tiled (which should realistically only cost me a few hundred dollars). Thomas gave me peace of mind and some practical advice, as well as saving me thousands of dollars I had been told by another company that I needed to spend to get the problem fixed.
