I cannot say enough wonderful things about Par and Kid Kare! My son has been coming here since he was four months old. (I think he loves it more here with Ms. Par than at home with mommy and daddy! I met Par when my daughter (who is turning 6 this summer) was not even 6 months old. The anxiety I felt returning to work as a first time mom was almost unbearable. I hate to write a bad review but I wanted to let you know what happened with my experience at this day care. First off, Par was not there when we had our appointment and the woman who answered the door let me in to look around. On the telephone, Par told me there was no TV. The children were watching a movie. And the biggest red flag was the non air conditioned room. I understand if the AC is broken and in the process of getting fixed, but they didn't even have a fan running. I heard wonderful things about Par and I am sure she is a caring person, but to be mislead about the TV, and the AC I think are things other parents might want to know. read more

Update: my kids have been with Par for almost 4 years now, and are doing fantastic. My son started kinder, but is with Par before and after school. She helps the school kids do their homework and reads with them as soon as they get there. She also has the activities they can do with the younger kids when they're all together. She has a long, strong history and connection with the local elementary teachers and administrators, and makes sure all her kids are meeting the same expectations of respectful behavior at school, home, and daycare. He had just turned 2 when he started going and in such a short amount of time, we were blown away with his development in language, learning songs, counting, and take direction. I'm a first time mom and I haven't been around a lot of kids in my life so when I looked for child care previously I didn't know what to look for and I ended up putting my daughter in a daycare close to my work that was very unstructured. When my daughter started having constant tantrums and behavioral and listening skills were not developing I knew I needed to make a change. When I met Par and she showed me her curriculum and explained their daily activities, holiday events, food program and her teaching techniques I knew it was the right place for my daughter. Want the greatest child care ever, KidKare is it. Let me tell you a short story first. The two parents worked full time, the parents of my grandson, I worked part time and was able to take him and pick him up. They first chose a day care down the block. Had a hard time getting him to go Monday thru Friday and was always getting sick. I told the parents that when I would pick him up kids were always sick and the area where they kept the kids cramped and way too many kids, he was pulled from there. The next day called Par at KidKare and set up an appointment. My grandson and I went over for the interview, she even let him play with the other kids while going thru the interview, he enjoyed it so much. The next day he started KidKare at the age of one, this back in 2004. The first day he was scared because of the other experience he had with the other day care. When I went to pick him up that afternoon he didn't want to leave, he enjoyed himself so much. The next day he couldn't wait to go to day care and every day after that. He stayed until he started kindergarten and was so prepared as KidKare taught him so much preparing him, he is now in 7th grade and because of those teaching skills he received from Par at KidKare he is doing so well in school. Also when they are ready to go to kindergarten Par holds a graduation with cap and gown and even a diploma, it was so heart warming a day to remember.This is a very loving and caring day care and anyone I run into that is looking for a good day care I always tell Par at KidKare is the best.
