In trying to put the stove cover back on, I noticed the thin metal gas line to the burner was bent and broke. I called the business and the secretary said that the water heater wasn't why they were called out, so, they couldn't guarantee they wouldn't charge me again for checking on why it wasn't lit. I finally lit it myself, as it has some auto spark lighter (no matches needed). As for the stove, there's no way in knowing if it was the plumber or myself that bent the metal connector.
