Called about a water leak. Was told to submit $800 deposit. Workers would come following day. (June 12,2026). Owner called and said bill could be higher if detection needed. Said bill would include travel from Gallup to Grants and back. Should've listened to alarm bells. Workers arrived at 10am next day. I showed them the wet spot next to home. No detection required. They dug down to leak. Workers didn't have repair parts/pipe. Workers said the if local hardware didn't have parts they would have to return to Gallup and get parts there and I should put water in tubs or something. I asked them to check local shop. They left and returned half hour later. The workers went to leak and realized they purchased wrong size pipe and had to go back to store. More red flags!! They were in a large plumbing service vehicle and should've had parts in my opinion. Anyway, they repaired the leak and started refilling the hole. I told them to stop and I would finish filling the hole. They had me sign that they'd done the job. I asked for an invoice and they said one would be emailed to me. Saturday passed. No invoice. I sent an email today to the shop asking about the invoice. Minutes later I get a call from the owner, berating me for asking for an invoice. Red flag!! Owner said he called because he thinks I was wrong for asking for invoice. He was quite nasty. He informed me that he was working on the invoice and that it wouldn't be a detailed invoice!!! Red flag!! I protested that I should get an itemized invoice. His reply was "you got running water right?". The owner is not honorable and that was not the correct way to treat a paying customer. I am a 20 year retired US Army 100% disabled veteran. I expect to be treated better than this. I would not treat anyone that way. So, I got an email with the non-itemized invoice. The cost had been upcharged to $1551.17!!!! Without itemization on the invoice how do I know if it was legitimate. Do not ... I repeat .... do not use this business. The owner and the business are not on the level. I will provide a copy of the invoice so you can see what I am saying. I paid the bill, but wish I had gone somewhere else. We requested Horizon come to our house to check our AC unit as it had failed. They charged us 1200.00 (they explained that after the service call, remaining funds would be returned to us) to come to our home near Grants. Thy were unable to fix the problem. we then received the bill. They charged 2.00 per mile. No problem. But...they also charged 154.00 per hour for checking our unit AND charged us 154.00 for travel time. Needless to say, there was virtually nothing left of our 1200.00 deposit. Scumbags. Do not use them. I've been in the service industry. To double up on travel time AND charge 154.00 for their "technician" to sit on his ass and steer is robbery. No read more

I would highly recommend Horizon Plumbing. Silvano, Jessica, their team and I recently worked together and completed a major project for over a year, and they have been a complete joy to work with. I am the director of a human rights org that works on water access projects on the Navajo Nation, and needed a plumber to help with one of largest projects to date. We needed to do a combination of re-piping and new water heater and filter installations in 25 buildings, in addition to installing a flush valve at a special needs school on the reservation. (I should also mention that they were recommended to me by one of the heads of a large utility company, so they are known for their great work.) To say that this project was difficult in the beginning would be a gross understatement. I originally was working with a different plumbing company out of Phoenix who basically left the school, me and my org. out to dry, and when I had to replace them I was very wary about how and who to move forward with. Silvano and his crew were a godsend and helped everything go smoothly from the first call we had to the final inspection of their work. They were a huge part of making sure that tens of people got clean, safe water and we are very appreciative. I am totally pleased with the work Horizon has done for me. My problem is that they do not send bills. I had to call to find out when I would be billed for the hot water heater they installed and was told that they were behind and would let me know. Previously I had faucets installed and prepaid with my credit card, understanding that any additional costs would be charged. Never received a word or a bill about an additional fee. Meanwhile, many weeks later, I finally received a voice mail saying I needed to contact them to settle my payments. I called back and paid balances with a credit card. I just received copies of the invoices and discovered that I had been changed late fees of $45 each for both transactions! How can I have late fees when I never got a bill? This is a very poor, unfair business practice! read more

These guys are very efficient and get the job done quickly. There was a mixup on our bill as they hadn't stamped it PAID but that was resolved. I'd recommend Horizon Plumbing to anyone who needs such services. read more
