Wonderful park; well kept grounds. Connected to an arboretum too. Plenty of space; restrooms; picnic tables; parking and a fishable creek that runs through the center. Also walking paths and frisbee golf. Play grounds for the children. You can rent the little kitchen area for large group cooking events, I believe. Great place to walk. read more

This is my favorite new picnic spot! Super fun Frisbee golf course, meandering faerieland creek with an adorable little swimming hole, wandering paths under tons of shade, a gazillion picnic tables and lots of parking and space. Both sides of the creek are nice, the gazebo is great for group events and I'm dying to know if the stand alone fireplace actually gets used when the dry season is over. The crusty old playground toys were thoroughly enjoyed by my kids before they took to the rope swing over the water. Bathrooms were clean and the only downside was the neglected Japanese garden. It was obviously lovely at one time but the paths held up remarkably well. We'll be back soon read more

This is a beautiful little gem that Dallas, Oregon has. The walking path that goes completely through the park up and over the rugged wood amongst the squirrels. It is a beautiful place to have birthday parties, church functions, baptisms, and I am grateful every day that our hat town has such a beautiful park. read more

We love this park! It's pretty big spreading out over several blocks. There's plenty to do here too. They have a couple different playgrounds, a disc golf course, miles of walking/running trails and loads more! Rickreall Creek runs right thru the middle of the park and creates a fun swimming hole for kids in the summer. It is also beautiful in the winter! Also, bring a picnic, there are tons of picnic tables and benches all around, you can even reserve a spot for your next party or get-together! read more

This is a beautiful giant park right in the middle of town. I've been here many many times. Rickreall Creek runs right through the middle. Their's a big walking bridge across the creek. They've set up a disc golf course. More than one playground for kids. Picnic tables everywhere. Gazebos for groups, parties or gathering. So much to do for everyone. Hiking, flowers, trees, fresh air. Hours and hours of fun. I highly recommend spending the day. You won't regret it read more

I love Dallas City Park. It has everything! For such a small city, it's incredible to have such a wonderful resource like the City Park. The park is big enough to have a reasonably sized frisbee golf course, play areas for kids, walking and running trails, cute little Japanese style gardens, a stream (Rickreal Creek) running through the park, nice walking bridges, and even a botanical garden. It also includes sheltered areas and restrooms. Let me be clear: this park is far better than many larger city parks. It's one of the best, nicest, coolest parks I've ever been to, from New York to Washington, I was floored by how clean and pristine this park is. To have such a special place in the heart of this cute little town is truly special. read more

I absolutely love this park! It is so beautiful. There are large trees throughout which make it nice and shady. They have beautiful Japanese gardens to meander through and a gorgeous botanical garden they is so well maintained. There is large grassy areas for kids to play. They have a couple sheltered areas where we have had parties. The creek runs through the park and is so wonderful to cool off on a hot day. There is also a frisbee golf course in and around the park that is very popular. The park is clean and well maintained. I wish there were more flush toilets available. But overall a great place to be! read more

Hadn't been here since I was a wee little one...and went back last Saturday for a picnic lunch. Place was packed, with disk golfers and people bbq'ing, etc. Pretty large area, with a lot of walking trails and wildlife. Nice scenery and right in the center of town. read more
