The teaching staff does all they can to make the school the most welcoming place!! They puts in so…read moremuch time off the clock to make lessons that are engaging for all of the kids. The middle school is a tough environment, but the staff does all they can to make it a great place! None of the teachers would ever put the kids down but rather encourage and build them up to the best of their abilities. I've had the chance to specifically witness Mrs. Schilling love and care for kids from all backgrounds. She puts in extensive work to come up with fun lessons and share stories to keep the kids engaged. Thank you to all LaCreole staff and all the work you do!

It seems the focus of the school is the children that go to the school and have parents working…read morethere. On 3 different occasions our kids at both campuses had incidents of bullying. Verbal and physical, to not draw extra or negative attention I did reach out to the school via chat to see if they had a place to review our experiences because they seemed to be sweeping the problem under the rug. Staff in person has been nice and delightful to deal with but the feedback from the kids when they return home is a much different story. At morning chapel I've witnessed kids picking on others in their groups. Staff did nothing to separate the groups or handle the situation. I would not recommend this school unless you are apart of their church click and plan on working or volunteering regularly to keep an eye on your child. They do some fun activities for the kids and the kids do have fun, they love singing praise to Jesus. This is just our first year so we will see how it goes and update review of things change and action is taken on the bullying. If the kids weren't in a split household we personally would not be spending the money to continue going to this school.

This school definitely favorites their own children as a lot of the teachers have their kids go to this school. There have been a couple of bullying incidents with my 3rd grader and kindergartner. The last bully incident was my last strike, picking up my kinder child from school with a bruise on her forehead, within minutes of picking her up I contacted the school immediately, was told they would follow up with me the following week, never heard back. Their father contacted the school to follow up with this and was told because my 6 year old didn't report it right then and there, there would be no further action. Sad they would put the reporting on a 6 year old. I sent a letter asking for a meeting to discuss how they handled this situation and the lack of follow up. No response. I even got the letter US mail certified to make sure they received it. From the staff I've had encounters with, I feel there are atleast a couple of truly nice people that come to mind and don't feel fake. Other than that, I really don't feel this is a school I'd recommend to anyone. Not a good private christian school.

My daughter has went here from 1st grade all the way through 8th grade. She absolutely loved it!…read moreThis is actually her last year here and she is already very sad to have to say goodbye. The teachers are wonderful, caring, and always look out for the kids. I have been notified promptly anytime there was an issue (example: my daughter tripped and fell and got cuts while outside at recess). No school is 110% perfect, every school has their flaws, but this school has always managed to pull together and do a great job! This is a lovely small country school, very family oriented. We couldn't recommend it enough! We'll definitely miss LVCS!

The school boasts low student teacher ratio..you think a staff member would have been alert to notice serious injury during head count while boarding bus.Glad we are finished with this school.
