The next day, 15 minutes after the cleaning was suppose to start, I called to get an ETA since I had scheduled my entire day around this. Finally I got a call back stating the company does not take appointments online - take a look at their website though, the "BOOK NOW" button is the first thing you see. Segundo called and said he would come up on Sat. 8/12. We weren't home but he came when he said. he called from the house. Estimate, $1,700 including parts and labor. I took it. I had 3 previous estimates, $4,000, $2,900 and $1,8500. I took the last one but after 6 weeks, the man never showed up. When I called, he was too busy to to do my chimney. Segundo said he would be up on the following Wed. At 8:30AM he was there with his 4 sons. I can't praise them enough. The scaffold was up within 1/2 an hour. The work they did, scraping wherever needed, cementing where needed and filling a hole in the old cement that was crying out for a repair. When that was done, they cemented over the entire work area. Then they sanded everything and used a leaf blower to get rid of the dust. Finally, they painted. I can only appraise what I saw. They were professionals. They worked throughout the day without taking coffee breaks. They knew what they were doing and when they finished, my chimney looked brand new. And they cleaned up everything, all the debris that fell on the grass below. What more can I ask for??? I believe I received much more than the $1,700 I paid. I called a reputable company I know of and they came out said the circulating pump was shot and not functioning at all and the lines were full of air.
