Don't go to Dr Dauphinée! Just don't. He is terrible at explaining things. He lied to me about my nail fungus and refused me further laser treatments, costing me 600 dollars and I still have nail fungus. I got a second opinion who said it usually takes 4 treatments and he still refused. 15 mins of a techs time and 50 cents worth of electricity and refused me. When I complained, I had no evidence because he hadnt put any notes about it in my chart. He never uploaded any of my results to the portal, either. Also, he once acted like a fancy bartender, squirting the local anesthetic from a distance missing the target completely, then gave me a plantar fasciatis shot with full pain. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dauphinee. He is kind and caring and takes the time to explain the exam, causes of the issue and takes a consertive approach first before resorting to more extreme solutions. I first saw him 7 years ago and while I did end up having surgery, it was after exhausting all other options. A month after surgery I temporarily moved to CA and saw another doctor for my after care. One year later I still had pain. I moved back to TX and saw Dr. Dauphinee as soon as I got back. He was able to resolve my issues with a simple treatment in just a few weeks. I have referred several people to Dr. Dauphinee and everyone has been happy with their treatment. I started experiencing a new problem last week and I am confident it will be resolved quickly. This is the most unorganized, unprofessional doctor's office I have ever visited. The normal wait time is 45 minutes just to go back to the exam room. Then it is usually 15 - 20 additional waiting time. Then the doc spends about 10 minutes. You are required to set up a "portal" but the staff is poorly trained on how to use it. They changed my password without asking then deleted my portal by "mistake". I would not trust them with confidential information. There are other podiatrists in the area. In the future I will stick with MD's (orthopedic) who specialize in feet. read more

Doctor does not care about his patients best interest. Had the worst experience ever with him. I had an infection on my toes and instead of prescribing me antibiotics to clear it up he suggested surgery, claiming 3 weeks healing time. Two months later and my feet still weren't healed. Convinced me to let him repreform the surgery another 3 weeks go by and they still were not healed. He tried to preform the surgery a third time all the while charging me $350 per surgery. Ended up seeing another doctor that simply prescribed me antibiotics clearing up my problem in a matter of 2 weeks. Extremely disappointed with this man for wasting my time and money read more

I took my daughter to see Dr. Daupinee. I thought she had glass in her foot. He went out of his way to fit her into his busy schedule since she could not wait another day for help. He quickly diagnosed her with a plantar wart, prescribed a topical ointment that worked beautifully and she was running around within a week. I found him to be very informative and caring. read more

I love walking but was finding it increasingly painful. Dr Dauphinee was recommended to me by a friend and I was so pleased! He is such a caring physician. Dr. Dauphinee and his staff are absolutely wonderful. At one point, I was afraid I would never be able to walk without pain due to chronic achilles tendonitis and a Haglund's deformity. I have had two surgeries with him for different issues on my foot, and now I am finally able to walk, run, and get back to a normal lifestyle again without the pain. Dr. Dauphinee is an excellent surgeon and really takes the time to listen to his patient's concerns and explore all options of treatment. We tried every conservative approach possible before resorting to surgery, but eventually it was inevitable. I am the type of person who wants to know all of the details and understand exactly what I'm getting into. I will do extensive research and ask a million questions until I feel comfortable. (I'm probably a doctor's worst nightmare!) Dr. Dauphinee gladly and confidently answered all of my questions, reassured me, and he even encouraged me to get a second opinion when I was apprehensive about going forward with the surgery. All of the research I did lined up with the treatment approach he took. I feel like he cares about his patients post surgery care and wants to see things through to full recovery. He went above and beyond to make sure my recovery was a success. He is great about educating on preventative care as well. His medical assistants and office staff are amazing. They treat me like family when I am there and get to know their patients on a personal level so you don't ever feel like just a number. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dauphinee! read more

I am sorry but I can' agree with the previous review. My experience was terrible. I went to see Dr Dauphinee with a severe pain between my large and second toe. He diagnosed the problem as a compressed deep peroneal nerve and said I would have to have surgery, no other alternatives were offered. Moreover, I was told the recovery would be several months. After the surgery, I was told it would be 12-18 months. After 15 months, several appointments and no improvement, I gave up and went to another doctor. The new doctor agreed with Dr Dauphinee's diagnosis but was surprised that I wasn't offered alcohol injections to desensitize the nerve, a minimally invasive procedure. I went through a series of 6 injections, over 2 months, and have almost completely recovered. In addition to this problem, Dr Dauphinee diagnosed me with metatarsalgia and provided me with orthotics. When, after wearing them for 3 weeks, I returned to Dr Dauphinee and indicated that they were very painful. He took the orthotics and hastily cut a groove in the bottom of them which did nothing. The doctor who performed the alcohol injections provided me with a set of orthotics specifically designed to deal with my metatarsalgia problem. These orthotics eliminated the majority of my pain in a week. My experience with Dr Dauphinee was not pleasant as I went through unnecessary pain and disability, I was not able to walk for nearly year after the surgery. Moreover, there was another option to surgery which was considerably less invasive and debilitating. He seemed irritated whenever I followed up to the surgery and the orthotic problems. read more

I saw Dr. Dauphinee a year ago for Plantar Fascitis and was given an injection, which helped for about 2 months. He also sold me orthotics, a night brace, calf stretcher and topical meds. I used all consistently, even the orthotics, which were extremely uncomfortable. Because no other treatment options were discussed with me, I sought relief elsewhere which included massage, laser treatment and a complete round of physical therapy. During my laser treatment, I was offered a different type of orthotics and found these to be more comfortable but the pain continued. After hearing that Dr. Dauphinee was using a new procedure (Topas) with some success, I went back to his office. When Dr. Dauphinee learned that i wasn't using the orthotics he provided he appeared to become angry and told me that the only reason my condition hadn't improved was because I wasn't wearing them. I explained that the arch didn't fit my foot properly and he told me that they probably didn't fit into my shoes properly. When I explained that they fit perfectly in my shoes, he just seemed annoyed with me and told me to bring in the orthotics he prescribed and he would adjust them to better fit my feet. Two days later I brought the orthotics to his office and told the receptionist why I was there. She took the orthotics from me and brought them out 10 minutes later and handed them back to me, telling me that he had fixed them. She said he'd shaved down the arch. I asked her why he didn't see me first to find out just how the orthotic fit on my foot and where it needed to be shaved. She asked if I wanted to see him and I said yes. After she left, I considered what I would say to him and ultimately decided that I did not want to deal with his attitude again so I left. I tried the orthotics in my shoes, just to see if what he'd done improved them but it actually made them worse. He didn't shave then anywhere near where they needed to be shaved. So now I have a useless (expensive) pair of orthotics. I'm pleased that he's helped so many other people but clearly, he didn't help me. read more
