This was my first trip to Damn Good Burgers and Dogs though I've been following them on Instagram for a while. They've got a great spot in the Stock + Grain food hall at the Rocker's Stadium. Plenty of seating, easy parking; definitely a great way to transition from food truck to brick and mortar. Some of the other stalls were appealing, but we were there for hot dogs. My buddy and I each ordered a Carolina Dog (mine with no onions). He got their Damn Good Fries and I got regular fries and we each got canned sodas. Our total was $27.24 with tip. It was late afternoon so I could tell our food was being made fresh which is always a plus. Everything came out hot (though I did have to remind them about the regular fry which was delivered promptly). The hot dogs had a great toasted bun and the chili or the slaw (or both) had a subtle sweetness to it. With that sweetness, I could have used a little more mustard, but that's a little critique. The regular fries were good: crispy and well-seasoned with salt and pepper. The Damn Good Fries were loaded and, as my friend said, "had a lot going on." They are loaded with warm cheese sauce, sweet onion sauce, ketchup, and their damn good sauce. When I tasted them it was hard to tell everything apart but it was still a tasty bite. Service was ok. I wouldn't wave about it but they got the job done. I'd definitely return to Damn Good Burgers and Dogs to try more of their food, especially those burgers. read more

Order at the counter and you will be given a device that will beep to let you know your order is ready. That is awesome because you can sit out of the restaurants sight, but you will be aware when your order is ready. I ordered the Carolina hotdog with fries combo. Drinks are sold separately. The hotdog had great flavor. It wasn't messy and I actually liked that. The bun was very soft. It almost melts in your mouth. It also had a very tasty flavor. They made a great choice! The fries were not hot. Not sure why. They were in pieces...like the bottom of a bag. I wish they were longer to dip in the sauce. They had a good flavor, but I think with a little tweaking they could be excellent. Maybe I got a bad batch? Not sure, but it won't deter me from trying them again. I snuck a taste of their special sauce from my friend's meal. It was good! I would like to try it on one of their vegan burgers. This is located in Stock and Grain so there is plenty of indoor and outside seating. You also have the option to get it to go. Can't wait to try this again! read more

(3.25 stars) On food alone, Damn Good Dogs lives up to its name. It offers five gourmet dogs (in New York, Philly, or Carolina styles, topped with bacon, or topped with chili and cheese), single and double burgers, and a few vegan options as well. I went with a New Yorker: sweet onions, kraut, and spicy brown mustard. It was well-dressed (any dog that doesn't have you reaching for napkins is sad), the bun was soft, and the dog had a nice slightly smoky flavor. Pointing out that Stock and Grain prices run high is beating a dead horse at this point, but even by those standards, $6 for a not-very-large hot dog was a reach. If you have a craving and don't mind the overpay, Damn Good Dogs won't let you down in the flavor department. Chances are, however, that you can get your hot dog fix more cheaply elsewhere. read more

We enjoyed this spot, it was a long wait to get our order but the quality was there. Like the other vendors here, the pricing is a bit high too. We had the damn good burger, damn good fries and two dogs- chili cheese and Philly. The cheese sauce vibes like 711 nacho cheese sauce. Our experience at damn good dogs is going to be one keeping me coming back for more, especially since we will be in High Point a little more with the children's museum membership. We stopped in because we had our three year old with us and their menu is very kid friendly. My husband got a hot dog, I got a burger, we split fries with damn good sauce and cheese over top, and my daughter got a grilled cheese. My husband said his hot dog was good but y'all thus burger!!! Go to damn good dogs for the burger. It's a perfectly juicy, saucy, well seasoned smash burger and I ate every last bite of my double. I also got the damn good sauce on my fries and it definitely leveled them up. I love the atmosphere of the stock and grain food hall and the service at damn good dogs was friendly and efficient - we got our food fast and fresh just like we like it. The boys had to try out @damn.gooddogs on our holiday trip to @stockandgrain These sure do look mouthwatering good. The boys enjoyed these Damn Good Fries (warm cheese sauce, sweet onions, ketchup, damn good sauce) and a Bacon Dog, during our food hall feasting. Don't they look good? It's cool that this place offers vegan options at a burger and dog place. It's conveniently located inside HighPoint's new food hall. Lots of seating in a new and spacious area that is key nice and clean. Restrooms available. Plenty of parking on side gravel lot out front. Outdoor seating as well. Well the name says it all. This hot dog and burger spot is pretty Damn Good! Located inside of the Stock and Grain food hall in High Point, Damn Good Dogs offers many different hot dog and smash burger options! On our recent trip we opted for the Damn Good Burger, a Philly dog, and the Damn Good fries. The burger was a smash patty topped with cheese, pickles, and the Damn Good sauce. If your looking for a good flavorful burger I would highly recommend this, nothing crazy just some basic toppings, but the burger is seasoned well and the Damn Good sauce is the perfect topping. The Philly Dog was a hot dog topped with peppers and onions, cheese sauce and Philly steak. This was our favorite from the visit! This was literally a combo of a hot dog and Philly cheesesteak and it just worked together perfectly. We think that they could even add a Philly cheesesteak to the menu by itself and it would be great! Lastly we got the Damn good fries! The fries were pretty good as well. Topped with cheese sauce, onion, ketchup and damn good sauce. Everything tasted well together, but I would suggest maybe combining them with an order of just plain fries as they were extremely saucy and got a little too soggy from all of the sauce and toppings. This is my second visit during Family Night where I received sub par service and food. A children's hot dog meal is advertised, but when I request it, I'm significantly overcharged. They do not take cash, and after swiping my debit card multiple times without success, I tried my credit card & transaction finally processed. I requested a printed receipt and the computer printed a blank receipt (no ink). Hot Dog is standard run-of-the-mill hot dog and fries were chewy, likely overcooked and/or sitting and reheated. On previous visit, they ran out of fries and charged me full price for a kids hot dog. Definitely will not be back for a repeat. read more

Damn Good Dogs is located in the food hall near the baseball stadium. I had no idea all these great restaurants were there. I ordered a single patty burger, and a hotdog. My burger was very good, juicy and tender. My hotdog was huge as it was stuffed with chili and coleslaw. I got takeout and I couldn't wait until I got home so I ate them in the car. My only complaint was the wait time which was about 30 minutes, but to their defense they did have a rush of customers in front of me. I look forward to trying this place again. Recently stopped by Stock and Grain and decided to try a few snacks from different spots! We stopped by Damn Good Dogs and tried their Philly Hot Dog Combo. Their flavors and combinations are super funky and fun so I was really excited! Unfortunately once the hot dog came (which it came really quickly), it was a bit of a disappointment. The hot dog was covered with thick nacho cheese, and small bits of steak and peppers. Super messy to eat and didn't have a ton of texture and flavor. Would have preferred shredded melted cheese and a grilled hot dog and bun to add a crisp texture and richer flavor. The fries weren't crispy and lacked salt as well. I think damn GOOD dogs is an appropriate phrasing here. Not damn great but definitely good. The burger, as I mentioned in the pic, was a damn OKAY burger. Nothing wrong with any of the food, but it is a bit expensive and underwhelming. I enjoyed the Philly, but I would honestly not recommend the fries. There's nothing special about them, and the topping for the damn good fries didn't really wow me. I don't see any need to go out of your way to try this place, but if you're already in Stock and Grain and looking for burger and dogs, your options are limited and could be much worse. read more

I came here with my family. My son and I had burgers here. My boy had a plain burger with fries. He loved it said it tasted very good. I had the double cheeseburger with pickles, lettuce, tomato and onion and a side of fries. It was a very good burger and the fries were crispy and very tasty! I was excited to find this hot dog joint while in High Point! I tried the New York style dog, and it was amazing! The bun had a wonderful soft texture yet I could tell it was toasted. On a recent visit to stock and grain food hall, we got to try damn good dogs. They have a variety of different hot dogs and smash burgers. They even have a vegan hotdog and vegan burger option! I love hotdogs and Philly cheesesteaks so the Philly dog was the best of both worlds for me! I was surprised at how tasty it was since I'd never had a hot dog like it before. The cheese, steak, onions, and peppers all complimented each other nicely and made for a great hotdog! We also ordered the damn good smash burger. The meat was seasoned and cooked nicely. I think the damn good sauce, cheese, and pickles were the perfect touch to this classic burger. We also ordered the damn good fries. It was a nice portion of fries loaded with cheese sauce, onions, ketchup, and damn good sauce. The flavor combo was nice with the sauces but I think there was just too much on the fries. Nothing like a restaurant that lives up to the name. As soon as I finished I said "damn that was good" lol. I'm not a big French fry eater, but I think their fries come close to McDonald's. The patties were very very small, the cheese was what looked like a Kraft single, and there wasn't much sauce.
