Long review but worth the read if you are considering this venue…read more We got married at the Parish House on April 5th, 2025, and while the venue itself is beautiful, the overall experience was unbelievably frustrating. We signed the contract in February 2024, but communication was limited until October 2024. After reaching out, we had a good meeting with Lee and got some things sorted, like the food tasting. The food tasting went well, and they even allowed us to submit our own pork recipe that would be used as a dinner option. There were delays in getting the seating chart and flower arrangements finalized. By delayed, I mean that we did not talk about flowers until about 2 weeks before the wedding and did not receive a seating chart until the week of my wedding after asking multiple times. When I finally got a flower quote two weeks before the wedding, it was completely off from what my wife and I wanted. Despite multiple requests, the flowers she didn't want were ordered, and we ended up handling the flowers ourselves the day before the wedding. Patty was not happy about this and was difficult to communicate with about options. It came down to us doing the flowers or not having flowers, and Patty wanted things her way, not our way. At the rehearsal, everything seemed rushed, and everything we communicated that day was not executed as promised on the wedding day. On the wedding day, the venue doors were locked when my wifes bridal party arrived, and the flower arch we asked to be removed was still up. The ceremony didn't go as planned either. The music for the recessional didn't start when it was supposed to, and it felt awkward kissing then walking down most of the aisle in silence. Patty also threw a fit when it came to accommodations for my mom, insisting on putting her accessible chair on the wrong side of the aisle than what we had requested. Then, an hour before dinner, Patty told my wife the pork recipe had been changed, despite saying earlier at the food tasting and in a messge a week before the wedding they'd follow our exact recipe. She also got upset and yelled at a guest in front of others when they brought in alcohol as a wedding gift, yelling at them that they could lose their liquor license as if my guest would've known that. Patty spoke badly about my wife to her MOH a couple different times both at the rehearsal and during the wedding day saying that she was hard to please when all we asked for was the bare minimum. Such as expecting the correct flowers to be quoted and the arch to be taken down as communicated before the wedding day. While Lee was great and tried to help he was very hard to find, Patty's behavior made the whole experience a lot more stressful than it needed to be. If we had worked with the original planner or Keira (the day of planner), things would've been much smoother. The venue itself is gorgeous, but the lack of communication and unprofessional attitude from Patty make it hard to recommend. I hope that for future couples they spend the money to hire help on their team so that those people feel like a priority for planning and on the biggest day of their lives because we surely did not. If you choose this venue, just be prepared to stay on top of everything and hold them accountable. Expect things to not go the way YOU wanted.

We had my cousin's wedding here which overflowed to near two hundred guests and packed the small dining area. Cannot recommend for larger groups, doubt this is inviting or easy to enjoy with more than a hundred; crazy that I have forty cousins just on my mom's side, the reception dinner was noise bursting all over. I did notice everything was clean and chairs comfortable. Catering matched well and worked with the groom's and family ideas. This is an excellent alternative to the typically expensive Lafayette options, plenty of parking, broad appeal, and accessible location.

Now that I live out of state I have to call to order arrangements. They have gone to premade planters and arrangements choices when you order. You cannot make changes. I expect more from a local florist. I was also disappointed in the person taking phone orders, they were not helpful at all.

The blankets are very well made and sturdy and really hold up in the frigid winters. It is also a beautiful way to honor my wonderful parents!

We were here for a Craft Show today. They had quite a few people selling hand made items. This is a nice big space with window overlooking the driving range. Plenty of room for tables and a dance floor. Years ago I attended a high school reunion here and I don't remember it looking this nice. That was before it was Milestone Event Center. Stan's Bar and Grille is attached but they weren't open when we were there. Out front they had business flyers advertising services like cakes to photos for events. They are hosting an Alternative Prom soon. Have many all inclusive events.

I was rather surprised at how small this venue is. Although it's beautiful, it's not set up very…read morewell. I didn't see much in terms of parking, however, we took a shuttle over so maybe there was another lot. When you walk in there was a coat check set up. That was a nice touch. You then have to either take a small elevator, or a ton of stairs to the third level. It was crowded because we all got off the shuttle at the same time. Navigating those stairs in heels was quite a challenge. When we got up to the third floor, the wedding was set up in the ballroom. There was cocktail hour following. The problem was that they were set up for it (no big deal the wedding was shorter than planned). There is no place to sit or even lean on something. We were all just crammed in there. The servers had to navigate through the crowd with hot pans of food. Food was served on disposable plates. But that was probably a choice the bride and groom made. The food was good and the service was excellent. I just would have had a smaller attendance or would have done only the reception there.
