He provided everything i needed and was missing from my previous agent. That right there is good enough. But here is where this Allstate agent becomes a ROCKSTAR: when adding a new home insurance policy, the inspector went out and saw there was a tarp on the roof and essentially cancelled the policy we had just added. We were putting skylights in and it was going to rain, so the carpenter put a tarp up. He was on the roof working when the inspector was there. Still, David had to fight to correct the mistaken judgment of the inspector. He personally drove out to the house and climbed up to the roof to take pictures to prove the roof was good! Wait, it gets better. I had 10 tons of dirt and 3 tons of rock that I was personally carrying...one tiny bucket at a time to grade the yard to help prevent further flooding. When David came to take pictures, he asked why I wasnt using a wheelbarrow for the massive amount of dirt. I explained I have major health issues including spine issues and so I couldnt lift more than ten pounds max. He told me if I didnt finish the following week, he would help. I just thought he was being nice but never expected him to follow up. Sure enough, the following Friday this man called and asked what the status of the house was. I told him I had a bit left and he came that Saturday to shovel and wheel dirt for me!!....IN THE RAIN. He left when all of the dirt was finished and most of the rock. He denied payment and just left after blessing me in such a huge way I could cry. Who in the world does that?? David is beyond an incredible agent, he is a beautiful human being. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a "How can I help you today sir?" Which you don't hear much anymore this day and age. I explained my situation and they told me they'd be glad to quote me they just needed a little bit of my personal and automotive information. While providing them my information I was asked if I'd like some water or iced tea. I gladly accepted the offer. As they ran my information they asked all the pertinent questions about what level of policy I'd like, different coverage options, and prior experiences with other providers. Once the quote came up it turned out that they were saving me over $750 dollars a year because my prior coverage had add-ons and hidden charges that I didn't read into within the fine print of my previous online provider. 3 months later I went back when my home owners policy came up and they did it again. Once I bundled the two my rates were cheaper on both ends. I never would have remembered that my home owners policy was up but Mike gave me a call 2 weeks before to remind me.
