Within a few years of the Mr. Livas' purchase, I had left... and they even messed up the transition. We gave them all the info, they mismanaged the refund payment (for 100% payment of the year's insurance), and then sent us to collections (I was on autopay and have an 800+ credit score) because they had removed autopay when we left and didn't know how to get the money the over-refunded. Probably won't ever consider Allstate again if this is how they treat customers of 20+ years and hire agents like Mr. Livas.

In 10 + years I have only talked with Bessie on 3 occasions. I have emailed Cassie twice. The last email I never got a response. When talking on the phone with her recently the conversation went a little like this... "so it's just you and your husband?" "No my husband passed away in May, it's just me and my 5 kids" "oh that's great! After being a loyal customer for years, I have decided to change to a new insurance agency. The…read morebeginning of the business relationship was fine (albeit never exceptional) and over time my loyal patronage was was met with increasingly poor second rate customer care and account service. It is not a very nice feeling to call in and be made to feel that you are incompetent or an annoyance for having done so; nor is it fun when your insurance agent explicitly promises they will take care of something for you and fail to do so. I would take it as an honest mistake if this had happened only once, but repeated lack of follow through is completely insulting and unprofessional. I only wish I'd switched sooner.
