When I was shopping for market place insurance I found many agents from big name companies have fudged the truth and in some cases flat out lied. I literally almost gave up hope but Maggie was there every step of the way and made me feel confident. The one thing I love about Maggie she is very knowledgeable and looks after your interest not hers. The reason I got Farmers was that…read moreyears ago when Wicker Park was considered the ghetto, Farmers was a lot cheaper there than comparable companies. Fast forward to 2009. I had a major accident last week and my new car was totaled. The other party had one of those fly by night insurance companies. I filed a claim with Farmers and it was effortless. They took care of everything. The amount they offered for my car was less than my loan but I thought it was fair. And I found out they will reimburse me the sales tax I paid on my new car if I buy a replacement. I have other policies with this office and the staff is always helpful and accomodating with my questions. Update: Farmers pays fast. Even though the other party was at fault Farmers is paying all the bills and going after the other guy's company. My car was settled within a few days of the adjuster looking at it and my medical bills were paid in a few days after they received them.
