We must've got there like at 10:30 didn't leave till 5 o'clock in the morning. You can clearly see they have no staff no doctors because nobody was coming and going. Then order suddenly at maybe 3:30 AM people started moving inside and coming and going and being seen. Definitely Putnam Hospital much better.

I…read morethink the urgent care a great idea for us working class people who canr make a 4pm or earlier doctor appointment. The doctor are top notch. I guess why I cant gove 5 stars is too fold. As many before me stated usually the wait time st this current location and I'm sure many other is horrible. In average you wait 20 mins but unfortunately this place average can also be over and hour. My second issue is caremount think it ok quite often to use nurse practitioner to diagnose and issue medications. Which I find in my experience a epic fail.

Terrible. They had been requiring unnecessary anesthesia to pad their bills. This had been going on…read morefor years until the insurances caught on and stopped it. That not only caused excess billing, but also made it much worse for the patient. Not only the negatives of excess anesthesia, but, they used that as an excuse to insist on patients having someone give them a ride. They also insisted it not be a taxi or Uber. Who then is left? A company called Care Rides that they were affiliated with, and charged enormous amounts of money. One time a patient couldn't afford Care Rides so he had to drive himself home, which he did with no problem. Then Wilton Surgery Center sent the police to his house, claiming that he was driving under the influence of drugs. Now the insurance companies have caught on to the unnecessary anesthesia, and stopped it. Thus, Care Rides no longer operates. In addition to this aforementioned horror, service is rude and all around terrible. The phone is often not answered. Messages are often not answered. Appointments are cancelled same day. The staff is often rude and insolent. Hours are limited. Forget about anything like going after work. Count on missing a day's work if you go here.

After having a very difficult respite experience at another facility last year, I was extremely nervous about trying again. As a caregiver, leaving someone you love in the care of others is not easy. From the moment we walked into Putnam Ridge, I felt a difference. We were warmly welcomed, the facility was clean and smelled clean, the residents were well cared for, and everyone we encountered was friendly and spoke to us. I talked to my mom almost every day while I was away, and hearing how strong and comfortable she sounded gave me a sense of peace I did not have last year. For the first time, I was actually able to relax on vacation knowing my mom was safe and being cared for. To the staff of the Apple Memory Care Unit, thank you for caring for my mom and for giving this caregiver something just as valuable: PEACE OF MIND. Respite care is not only about caring for our loved ones. It allows caregivers to rest, recharge, and breathe, knowing the person they love is in good hands. Thank you, Putnam Ridge.
