I was initially quoted $500, and after several text exchanges, we agreed on $425. Before scheduling, I specifically asked him to come to my property to provide an accurate estimate. He declined and replied, "I wouldn't want to come unless I could do the work right then and there. If I could do it for $425, could we do the job tomorrow late morning?" Based on that conversation, I agreed. When he arrived, he immediately said the job was much larger than he anticipated and that it would cost an additional $200. I agreed to pay the original $425 that day and discuss the remaining $200 later. He asked if I would be home while the work was being done. I had planned to be there, but I was unexpectedly called into work. I texted him to let him know I wouldn't be home and told him I would send payment once the job was complete. Later, he sent me photos indicating the job had been finished. Trusting those photos, I immediately sent the agreed $425. When I later checked the property, I discovered the trash had not been removed. After I confronted him, he claimed the debris had been "re-dumped" onto my property because I supposedly hadn't paid--even though I had already sent the payment shortly after receiving the completion photos. He then charged me a $250 "re-dump" fee, offered to refund only $175, or said he would complete the job only if I paid the additional $200 he requested plus the $250 re-dump fee. That brought the total from our agreed price of $425 to $875. I feel the pricing changed repeatedly, the work I paid for was not completed as represented, and I was left feeling misled. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to get a written, on-site estimate, keep all communications in writing, and do not pay until you have personally verified that the job has been completed.
