I like the Showbiz teachers and the quality of dance is the best around. The students do great preforming at competitions, too. Most importantly, the students seem happy, so they really give their all.

A naturally shy girl, her experience at Showbiz has helped her find her inner confidence and provides her with an artistic outlet that I know will serve her well in life regardless of what path she chooses. Kristie Eckman's artistic talent, teaching acumen, infectious good humor, and amazing patience have helped mold her students into confident, award winning dancers. The studio itself is easy to find in t he Landen shopping center. The classroom is a large setup with plenty of room for students to work on routines as a group or spread out and express themselves during solos. A comfortable lounge area up front for the parents to relax while the little ones learn. The cost per class is very affordable and the diversity of available styles such as tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop let you or your child experiment from year to year to find what speaks to you. Showbiz also boasts one of the most award winning competitive dance teams in the area. In 2010, our teams traveled the region scoring amongst the top in virtually every category entered, including one remarkable performance by a dancer who managed to take 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd in the same category (yes, three different solos). The team's performance at Nationals in New Jersey this past summer was equally fulfilling, further cementing in my mind that there is no other studio in the Tri-State I would take my daughter.

It never lost touch with its grassroots, and the organization is still run in a collective-style management, staying true to it's "collective" designation. The atmosphere is warm and completely noncompetitive. Both kids felt at home there right away, and I found even as a beginning Pilates student I was able to really enjoy my class. Our kids have had two different instructors so far-- and we love them both. I think our children are more in tune with their bodies now and use movement as a form of self-expression. That's exactly what we want for them. We are blissed out at FWDC, have recommended it to others, and will continue to do so.

This is my daughter's 4th year at Inspire and we could not be happier. We've been to other studios…read moreand she has grown leaps & bounds here. My daughter loves dancing here & loves all the students & staff here. Everyone is so supportive of each other. It's very family friendly. All costumes & music are age appropriate (no mid-drifts). At the recital all students get a T-shirt and an award based on the number of years they've danced. But they also give awards to competitive & recital students who have shown hard work & positive attitude, etc and they earn a discount on classes for the next year. Most studios IF they offer this only offer it to competitive program. I danced as a kid & my daughter has been to another studio as well. Every studio we've been to you pay the same monthly price from August through the end of the school year. The months that there are breaks offset the months there are 5 weeks in a month. However, At Inspire we don't pay in June and you still have rehearsals for 2 weeks in June. They also offer fundraisers throughout the year for students to go toward recital fees, costumes, etc. One thing that I would like to add is how a studio responds in times of uncertainty. They've always offered that if you need to miss a class you can take a makeup class in another class. Whenever the studio closes for weather etc, they always offer makeups. But how they responded during COVID-19 was exceptional! They offered new google classes each week for the kids to continue to learn & then also offered an extra zoom class essentially for free to get some interaction with other students and a teacher. I have friends whose dances studios cancelled their recital classes and their recital, leaving parents with a costume they paid for and never getting to wear. While at the time of this post, Inspire is still trying to work the recital out as restrictions have not been lifted. Trista has let parents know that she will still try to have some kind of recital program for the kids within state guidelines. She sent out surveys to parents and is taking their suggestions and concerns into account to try to make plans what is best for everyone. I'm so thankful for the extra work Trista is putting in & the compassion & dedication that she always shows. We are so happy we came to Inspire, so much so, that we've had several family members that have now followed us to Inspire. They are even driving past other studios & driving 30 minutes just to dance here with us!

My daughter is entering her 3rd year of dance here, and we couldn't be more pleased with the studio…read moreor its instructors. The studio is not-for-profit, so they keep class prices low (a 45-minute class is $44/month, and there are discounts when you add classes). The instructors are excellent in technique and teaching, and they also have a real heart for their students. Dance numbers are age appropriate, and costumes are all stylish yet modest (no exposed midriffs or anything too sexy for the littles). I appreciate that they consider that and want our children to enjoy dance without forcing them to grow up too quickly. They also encourage leadership skills among the older dancers, so some of them volunteer to help teach in the younger classes. I also love the time that's taken to work with the students. My daughter is in one of the youngest dance classes, and her instructor, Miss Trista, had to miss class the week before recital, so we had a sub. Trista wanted to make sure the girls got a full rehearsal before recital, so she scheduled another day for our class to come in and practice with her. I mean, they're the littles who honestly end up getting on stage and are so dazzled by the crowd that they may or may not remember a single step, but Trista took the extra time to give the girls a chance to really shine, and that spoke volumes about her love for her students. After the recital, every kid got an award based on how long they'd been dancing with the studio (even the first-years), and awards were given out for Most Improved Technique, Best Attitude, and the 110% Award (for a student having a great class even when he/she was having a bad day). Again, this studio encourages great attitudes and a great heart in addition to great dancing, and I adore that. A previous review mentioned that you still pay the full price for months with spring/fall breaks when the studio closes, but over the course of a school year, it averages out with the 5-week months that you end up with an extra week of classes. We also don't pay for June at all, which is recital month. If you miss a class, you are always welcome to attend another for a make-up (and there are plenty to choose from). I can't say enough good things about this studio, and I love to see how much they've grown since we started two years ago!
