The trash bins were all full of garbage and all along the hallway to the theaters - what a great sight to see! It was the absolute dirtiest theatre I have EVER been to. If you cant hire movie staff or you are short staffed at least hire a cleaning / janitorial company for a few hours a night. The carpets were full of stains. I cant imagine what wanders around there when the lights are off. Disgusting. Raise your prices if you have to for goodness sake but take it up a notch. The rating is not one star, it is a zero/no star!!

There are some really bad oversights that just make for a bad experience. You go to the the theater (and pay a lot of money to do so) for the experience and that oversight really took away from that. This was the second time they forgot to dim the lights when the movie started. The first time, they finally shut them off about 20 minutes in. This last time, we watched the entire movie with the lights on in a tiny theater with the seats all mislabeled (they had some digital system that confused everyone who came in the theater). During the previews, only the audio was playing. I asked someone to turn the lights off twice during the movie but it never happened. At the concessions, they were out of popcorn butter and two popular drink options at 7pm on a Saturday night. I could let these things slide normally but given the movie experience I think it just adds up to a theater that doesn't have its crap together anymore and isn't worth the money. It's sad because 'd rather support a local, independent theater but I can't throw my money away the one of the few nights I can get out and enjoy a movie w my family.

Christies in Brunswick is amazing. The stage is in the center and surrounded by some very comfy leather chairs. Between the granite floors and the elaborate bathrooms, this place is fancier than most restaurants! No, I'm not kidding. The girls are friendly (obviously) and genuinely seem to like their jobs. I enjoy watching the acrobatics and dancing if the woman looks like she's having fun. If you can clime to the top of a two story pole and do things other people can't, you should own it! I can't do any of that. It is extremely impressive. The drinks are a little expensive but that's true of any club. There is usually a girl passing out cheaper shots, so that helps. Almost always a cover but they have a few deals on certain days. Couples night etc, etc. Great place for a different night out!

What concern me was the pole they were dancing on. It looks very loose at the top. I overheard some of the dancers complaining about being afraid that they might fall to the pole coming off during a session and getting hurt. That's why I'm rating it a 3 and not a 5.
