I have been here a few times before. It's a nice area. However, I recently did the vino the way, which is their wine trail. It has 5 stations. They drop you off in the middle of the corn maze, and you have to find your way to each station. Unfortunately, when we went, the aftermath of the hurricane was here, so it was extremely muddy, dark, windy, and it poured the majority of the time. We were unable to complete the trail, and the staff just told us to figure it out. There was no direction, and I know it stated no refunds, but if the weather was bad, it was supposed to be held in a different area according to their website. Not worth the price. No direction and unorganized. The weather is unpredictable at the time of purchase of the tickets, but it should have been moved. This was my 3rd time and my last due to this experience.

My girlfriend and I went here with family for a wedding at the barn. Great aesthetics, kind staff, great food, and wonderful drinks. I loved how the staff moved things along at a steady pace and always with a smile. The reception came at a perfect night in early July and we all had a wonderful time. The coolest thing: After the desert bar, they presented a late night potato bar for snacking: french fries, waffle fries, and sweet potato fries with chili and dipping sauces.

Always a pleasant visit to Mapleside, it's become a yearly thing for us and the gorgeous view alone and makes this place. It has definitely grown in popularity so I recommend getting your tickets online and early. You can get them by time slots but they do sell tickets at arrival. However, once they sell out for the day, no one else can buy tickets. Each year they add something different, this year it was the pedal cars in a paved area that provides fun for all ages. Despite tickets being a bit on the higher side, they do have tons of things for all ages. Our favorite is of course the big slide, but they have several corn mazes, corn pits, big playground with a giant trampoline, basketball, hay rides, pig races, see saws, pumpkin patch and much more. The food prices are actually reasonable and they have delicious apple donuts and chocolate chip cookies with a variety of picnic foods like hotdogs, burgers etc. plenty of staff to help run the area and bathrooms in a bunch of different areas. Parking lots is always packed but well managed by staff. Just be ready for lots of walking but on a beautiful p

I had a great time at Mapleside doing all of the fall things. We initially went for the corn maze-- the website really hyped it up, but it was more a path than a maze. Although that was why we went, it was the only disappointment. Everything else was great! Sack slide, hog race, hay ride, and hot donuts were stand outs. Lots of people had kids, and it's a great place for families. If you are looking for a challenging corn maze, go somewhere else. But a great place for standard fall fun.

Pumpkin Fest in October is our family favorite must do! Giant slide, hay rides, corn mazes, playground, cider, donuts, bbq - and the great pumpkin wall! Everything you could want for fall and the most gorgeous views to boot! Thankful for the fire pits to warm up by throughout the village. The best reason to come here - the slide!!!!!

Apple picking First time it was offered this fall and a great experience for the price. I like how they charged by the bag and not for each child. Especially if you have young ones. Fall fest I feel like these are overpriced for the activities. Plus can be really crowded. Also not a good place for strollers. Lots of hills and steep inclines. I went one evening with my kids and several of the activities were also not available. And parking is a bit of a hassle. Also really awkward how their house is right in the middle for everyone to see. Even saw people walking up towards it. Store Must try the apple cider. Best in the area. Also the caramel apples are good and made in front of you. Outside food It was okay. A little dry from sitting in the warmers for awhile.

Looked like a great place for the kids. Was a little upset that even though I wasn't doing any activities (slide, hay ride, etc since I'm recovering from surgery) I would still have to buy a ticket for myself to be able to take my step son. We ended up leaving since I didn't think that was right and I wasn't going to send him off. We did buy a float and a cone for around $7. Some of the prices were a little high on things.

Great place to visit for a fall outing. Lots to do for a nominal price. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

    Charged me $18 on Friday

I'm disappointed in Mapleside and definitely won't be back. First of all, I called in advance and asked very specifically the pricing on Friday. They said it was $15/person. Although I thought even that was steep, the 5 of us still went. As we went to pay, the lady told me it would be $108 for five of us. I said I thought it was $15 per person (which the big sign clearly states when you pay). She explained that although it was Friday, they charged $18 because Monday is Columbus Day and some schools are off so the weekend starts early... huh? That makes absolutely no sense and is simply a money grab. None the less, she still got the total price wrong and had to recalculate it twice. For a family of 5 to just get in was $90, which is 100% not worth it. The prices for food and drinks are also way over priced and the activities are not that fun. The only decent activity is the long slide, everything else is okay but not worth the price tag. There are plenty of other Fall farms/activities out there, avoid this one if you don't want to feel ripped off.

Absolute gem in the middle of NE Ohio that I was not expecting. The beautiful fall scenery aesthetics you didn't know you needed. Or maybe you did know. Either way you can get it here. Wine Your Way Through hayride/corn maze tasting with a big group is definitely a 10/10 great time would recommend. Variety of wine & beers & ciders to try kept it interesting, too. BEST APPLE CIDER DONUTS I'VE EVER HAD. And I've been to MANY apple orchards and cider mills in Michigan. Fresh kettle corn was also yum. So many food stands to choose from. Ton of activities for kids, too. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon/evening, but there was plenty of space and activities to explore.

    Super slide is fast.

Nice family friendly fall festival for a fun Friday night atmosphere. Kids had fun. No apple picking like I assumed. Some of the amenities were not open though. Miss the old restaurant too. Got some cider, apples and treats. Nice ice cream stand too.

Fall is here and so are the pumpkins!! We went to celebrate a birthday with a couple of friends, on this last night of summer. It was a really nice idea and such fun. You arrive into pumpkin/corn world. A lot of activated for both kids and adults. First of all, you need to do the wine your way out I side the corn maze. 6 different stations with wine/beers and snacks. A lot of fun to make it harder to find your way out. They also have a 311 feet slide, super fun!! Another maze of corn is also available and this one is just really hard! We could not figure it out and we were doing it at night time. Such a great activity. They have a lot of animals, pet zoo, pig races and goose races but unfortunately we didn't see those, they were all closed. If you have kids, try the giant pillows and the corn house. They will for sure enjoy it!

I am really surprised by the previous yelp's I read. This is a small family owned business and they were all running around keeping things clean and in order. I really think people need to be careful right now more than ever leaving a bad review because you may be in a mood yourself. If your heading to an outdoor event I would not expect all people to be walking around outside in a mask. If your that afraid you just may want to stay home an order a pumpkin on line. Don't leave a poor review on a local business working hard to stay up and running. This farm has been in Hartville for a long time. That's why it gets packed so quickly. Loyal customers that enjoy a great service they provide to our community. If your looking for a fun day out I highly recommend stopping here.

The first shock was that the two employees handing buckets out had no masks! Can't say I'm surprised as the pickup truck next to the barn had a giant trump flag. When we checked out the lady said 'I'm only going to charge one $5 charge. ' What? She then told us there is a $5 PER PERSON charge! How nice of her to charge only $5 instead of $10, right? Nowhere does it say there's a $5 admission fee nor do the ladies handing out buckets say anything. Imagine a family of 5 going here. So you pay $5 each, then if you want some fresh apple cider you can pay $9 for a gallon. Yes, $9. Too much but still thirsty? How about a about a nice 12 oz cup of hot cider or a cider slushee? That only runs $3.99. We've come here for quite a few years but this is now a total rip-off and we will not be back.

Still had a bit of last-of-the-season strawberries and raspberries, some butternut squash, and other produce as well that you can pick. They give you buckets for the apples and charge per pound -- they have a pumpkin patch as well, which is a bit small, and they do those per-pound as well. A little pricey but it was a fun experience for our 3 year-old! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves. Also: hayrides, a store with AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS speciality jellies/jams, CIDER DONUTS, fresh pressed cider, produce you can buy without having to pick, a random but yummy Greek Food tent (grape leaves, baklava, gyros, oh my!), a friendly horse, chickens/eggs, raw honey, and cute flower area you can pick from. They are open 10am-4pm daily, except for Monday's (closed). My advice is to go early in the day. Also, if you're looking for particular varieties, either check their website chart and/or call ahead to ask about it. Like, they ran out of McIntosh while we were there!

I was traveling by motorcycle and ended up arriving late at night, so I messaged the hosts ahead of time. They quickly let me know that late arrivals were no problem and that check-in was completely self-serve, which made things simple. Finding my spot was easy once I arrived. I stayed at Campsite #4, conveniently close to the parking area, which made unloading and reloading my bike a breeze. The little shack at the site was awesome! It even had a tarp you can unroll and secure over the doorway for a bit of privacy when you turn in for the night. The latrine was located near the check-in area, and the whole property had a calm, quiet vibe. There were other campers around, but it honestly felt like I had the place to myself. It's nothing like those packed chain campgrounds with big RVs and noisy crowds--this spot was peaceful, rustic, and relaxing. You can't beat the pride note, excellent value! I'll definitely be coming back for another stay on my next ride through the area!

Not many of the green variety but lots of orange and white ones. Prices seemed a little high ($8-9 for an average-sized one, $10-$14 for the large ones, $6-7 for smaller ones). They also had a nice selection of gourds ($1 each), and other decorative or pie pumpkins ($4). Not bad individually, but if you're looking to buy enough for a family or front yard display, it can add up quickly. We picked out 4 and paid $28. In addition to pumpkins, they had a variety of fall activities including a small corn maze, hay rides, and scavenger hunt ($4/ticket for each, I think). We don't have kids so I can't speak to it from that perspective. We went on a gray, drizzly Sunday afternoon so it wasn't very crowded. Appreciated that they require masks throughout the property, though out on the scavenger hunt trails people weren't always abiding.
