The Wild Spirit Gallery was an interesting option and I spend a good amount of time wandering around their spacious, handsome, and diverse offerings. That includes original paintings and etchings, bronze sculpture, jewelery, woods, and various other stuff. Store staff pretty much left me along, although I knew I could quickly count on help if I needed it. Only a few items resonated with me, and the ones that did wouldn't fit in my suitcase. But if I pass this way again, I'll make sure to stop by.

By far my favorite art gallery in the 4 corners area! They seriously always have some next level…read morestuff here! I get so tired of all the abstract landscapes or nature photography. Don't get me wrong! That stuff is definitely nice and it has its place, but Studio & has that edgy modern feel that gets me every time! They do openings every so often with free wine and snacks which is always a plus, but most importantly the artists are all down to earth and amazing! Also they are usually at the openings to discuss their prices with the public. It seems like whenever I'm there, there is a new exhibited or newly featured artist. They also participate in the Bizzare Bazzar during Christmas time. Needless to say I got so many unique and quirky gifts for my friends out of town. We were visiting Pagosa Springs on vacation and visiting family as well. We decided to kill time by…read morevisiting this wildlife sanctuary. Very reasonably priced and our admission gets us in and out of the park on the same day. I would recommend early morning or later afternoon when they are fed because we came a little too late in the morning and almost missed all the wildlife activity as they hunker down during the heat of the day. We did see the grizzly bear and the wolves, and for us it was worth it. We intended to come back around 2:45 for feeding and the guided tour, but we didn't make it. The staff were friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this wildlife sanctuary and support those that cannot be reintroduced to the wild for one reason or another.

It was so fun to watch the animals get excited about their lunch and hear all the interesting facts about them while we had awesome photo ops.
