It has something to do with the inside unit not being installed correctly.. When they did my install, they left all of their garbage in my attic, as well as leaving me with a hole in the wall under my thermostat.. I'm paying 10,000 for this new unit.. however they have probably created 10,000 worth of damage to my home.. and it's not over.. This has to be at the top of worst experiences that has happened in my life.. I would not say that Surfside has made me happy by ANY MEANS.. They told me they'd put me on a list but wouldn't come if my son was home alone but they would call and let me know. So that meant to me that there was a slight chance they might come. I took off from work and headed home to wait. I was fine when they didn't, it would have been a long shot. I called again on Monday morning at 9am because I hadn't heard. Again they told me they'd put me on a list. I eventually called someone else who fixed my unit late that afternoon. I never heard from L & S. I called them at 4pm on Monday to take my name off the list. My biggest peeve is that they never called, I would have assumed that they would have given me a heads up, maybe they can't tell me exactly when but let me know that it might be days.
