She had seen him standing there the whole time, yet never communicated that she was closing the line. If she had simply let him know earlier, he wouldn't have wasted his time. It was extremely frustrating for him to leave without a meal, especially since he only had a limited break. It's disappointing that the employee couldn't either take a moment to let him know or just finish his order since he was the last person in line. We expect better customer service from Wegmans.

However, i have to say, i came here on a busy day before the holidays, had to ask several staff different questions, and each and every single one was much more than willing to help. and with smiles, and truly genuine. due to the holidays and advance notices for custom cakes, i was unable to get the cake i specifically wanted, however the staff was also more than apologetic for the inconvenience, and kindly pointed me to getting a pre-made sheet cake and having words placed on it. truly a wonderful staff who all puts in that extra effort to make customers feel welcome!

The place is cozy with seating at the bar, TV, and several tables in the dining area and an outside patio area too.  I stopped by Gabe's Grille for takeout recently and it was open on a Sunday in the middle of winter. The winter menu food offerings included burgers, chicken wraps, BLT wrap, Philly cheesesteak, club sandwich, breaded chicken sandwich, and tuna melt, all served with potato chips, $6-$9 plus tax. They also have snacks including popcorn, bagged chips, candy cold bottled drinks, and alcoholic libations.  I ordered a Tuna Melt ($6.48 with tax) which was made and grilled to order in the adjacent kitchen. I enjoyed my takeout lunch near the mall. The tuna melt was not fancy, which had a very soft tuna mixture with gooey melted cheese between two slices of grilled buttered bread (I chose wheat). The pile of rigged salted potato chips were very standard and crispy. Overall, I give this place 3.5 stars, rounding up since the prices seem fair and it seems like a good place to chill out for food and drinks after playing a round of golf.
