Loved our stay in this little boutique hotel! Our room was small but housekeeping everyday regardless of whether we asked for service, and that gave us a very luxurious feeling. This hotel is located on a pedestrian street, so be aware if you're taking a taxi or Uber, they may be confused at where to drop you off, but it is not more than a couple of blocks in.
Once we arrived, which was nearly 12:30AM, the front desk attendant was napping on the small couch in the back (totally understandable!) and I felt so bad that we arrived so late, but he was so kind and popped up quickly to get us checked in - it made us sort of feel like he was a family member- I truly kind of loved it, honestly!
Once we got into the room we realized how tight it was.
We had a little trouble being able to open both of our luggages in the room as there was only about a foot of space around the bed. we ended up putting one of the little ottomans/stools on top of the armoire to make more room. But the design and functionality of the room was on point! It was nice to be able to turn off the bedroom lights from the bed, it made going to sleep easy. We also had a huge window that opened up into the interior view of the building, which was very quiet! It really gave us that European feel. We also had a small tv which you can Google cast too on their WiFi, which was cool.
I had been looking forward to getting spa time which they have a hot tub and sauna, but they don't say it's €50 per hour, so heads up! also, be aware that the city taxes are charged to your damage deposit, which for us added up to roughly under $100, and can be a bit hefty.
Everyone at the hotel was very kind to us, however, in every moment we were there. as we checked out, there was an accidental extra charge for breakfast on a day that we did not have breakfast, and they were pretty quick to remove the charge.
Overall, the size of the room is smaller than it appears, but the design, location, and the helpfulness of the staff totally makes up for it. We read more
