She emailed us every step of the way even reminding us of things to bring for our selves and our son...things like snacks and toys so you know not things that were required for the photos. When we met her she was very friendly and kind. We showed up early and so did she so we were able to start early and even though we only paid for 30 minutes we went over that time and she did not charge us for it. We were able to tell her that my wife did not like her photo being taken and she was able to work with us and make us feel comfortable and get natural shots. Looking at the photos you would not know my wife was nervous. The quality of her work is AMAZING and the reason we chose to drive all the way out from Kingston. Totally worth the trip. Also we purchased the "Short Story" Session which allows for 10 photos. But when she gave us access to the gallery we were allowed to purchase additional photos for $20 each OR the ENTIRE gallery for $125 our gallery was 49 photos so purchasing the extra 39 at the 20 per would have cost us close to eight hundred dollars, so this is a great deal. We ended up paying for the whole gallery, the photos were just too good not to. Also after you purchase your gallery or just the photos that came with your session you will have access to her shop where you can buy printed photos OR cool things like different styles of photo albums and metal/canvas prints.

I interviewed 3 local photographers and…read morechose Wallflower because they were the most affordable, I felt comfortable with them (husband and wife team) and because I liked their photo-journalistic style of photography. As it turns out, they're also award-winning photographers. For almost 1/2 to 1/3 the price of other wedding photographers, I got 2 photographers and 4 hours work (at the wedding and reception site) from them. They used professional digital cameras, were willing to do some retouching and provided a proof book and cd's of all the photos. They also provided black and white and sepia toned photos, along w/ color photos. They were incredibly easy to work with. They listened to our particular needs and were very responsive regarding emails and voice mails. I definitely recommend them and look forward to using them as our family grows (for portraits).

I love the photojournalist style of photography they use (candids vs a lot of posed shots). Their style really reflected their name. We rarely noticed them that day. We did our posed shots before the ceremony and then they just let the day flow. When we got our CD of photos we were blown away! They did an incredible job coming up with artistic posed shots and getting candids that truly captured the spirit of the day and the personality of our friends and family. Everyone loves the photos we put on Facebook (they give a CD with all your pictures-both in high resolution for printing and smaller ones for social media).
