Honestly, I would rate this specific casino/hotel 2.5. I've had a lot of great times here throughout my life. I partied here in my 20s at Passions and other clubs, and I've been here several times in the last year with my wife and baby. The managers on the floor and most of the staff are great, and I get along well with the clientele. It's a great time. However, here's where it gets a bit strange. I've been coming here frequently and playing slot machines twice a week for the last year (at least). I earned icon status, which means I get offers from the casino for free play and the money I cycle through the machines gives me bounce-back play. Not too long ago, they purchased an AI system from a local software engineer that is supposed to weed out people who play certain machines or use only free play. The system can either ban them for a year, for life, or wipe out their benefits that they've built up. Mind you, the benefits program for any tier status is only good until February of the following year! My icon status isn't good after February 2027 unless I earn enough tier credits. The people who bought this system did it with good intentions. They want to make sure that the place they call work doesn't get cheated. Casinos are billion-dollar businesses, and they have games where they always have an edge. If someone finds an edge or is good at a certain game, either lucky or skilled, and consistently wins, they're kicked out. Slot machines have an RTP or return to player, but Hard Rock is a tourist destination, so their RTP isn't published. Nonetheless, the people who purchased this AI system (supposedly) don't realize it's hard to cheat a slot machine. Actually, it's impossible. The machine is set to pay a certain amount to the players (return to player) and keep a certain amount. I spoke with several people who state that my style of play warrants taking my icon benefits away. Furthermore, I know someone who was banned for a year as an X member. (You can only become an X member if you spend a lot of money and time there, and they have to invite you.) That AI system banned this player for a year! Another Icon member, an older lady in her 60s, was also banned for a year for no real reason. There's a Facebook page where many people share stories of how their accounts were locked, they were randomly banned, and so on. Meanwhile, people come to me in the high limit room begging for $20. A rapper gets shot. People drink themselves to pass out in the bathroom after the day club, and they choose to ban or lock cards of normal everyday people who have families, while they just play the machines the way they are. No cheating. No nonsense. I know this happened recently at Tampa Hard Rock, but were the people who followed the elderly couple home after winning a jackpot banned? Can't you find the violent criminals and ban them instead of family men, old women, and normal everyday people? This AI system will generate more lost BIG players like myself than it'll make you money. Coin IN is the most important thing for you... you also decided to do this after I had a significant losing session. Other than that, I love this place. The management that decided to take away the benefits that I earned is no good.

She has an incredible ability to read the moment and adjust her energy perfectly. If I'm down a couple thousand and having a rough session, she knows exactly how to lighten the mood with the right comment, the right humor, or simply the right presence. And somehow, you end up walking away feeling better regardless of the outcome. What really stands out is her memory and awareness. She remembers past wins, past conversations, and uses that to genuinely connect. That level of personalized service is rare. As someone who manages thousands of people, I don't give compliments like this lightly. Katia has leadership level qualities. The kind that you can't train easily. From bell men Eian and Sergio to exceptional servers Elizabeth and Manny and the amazing Bartender Tim which go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied and happy.
