Came here twice pre and post cruise. There is plenty of parking but no garage. The crowd was a bit sketchy on our late night visit but during the day it felt safer. A lot of complaints here about people not winning. It's a casino. Compared to Louisiana I can tell you this place pays out handsomely. I've been going for the past week and I can tell you it's fair. What I like most is the food. My sister said we should get some food from the restaurant and at first I was hesitant, casino food? Guess what, it is delicious! I really do enjoy this place and the other guests are usually very friendly - we all want to win! You also have some gambling addicts in there as well they are easy to spot. The Seminole Classic Casino was truly classic. It's an old gem. The vibe is most certainly, a dive casino feel where all the regulars go. It's much more popular than the Hard Rock Casino, which came as a surprise. Every available seat was pretty much occupied. The patrons had such passion when pulling the slot handle. I was fascinated by a woman near me, dancing and rubbing the machine as the screen was spinning. Her excitement and enthusiasm shot through my body and encouraged me to play. The place is a "Classic" dump. You walk in and your sensory is met with noxious smoke. Given the casino's low payout, they could at least invest in air quality. I was there early 2021 and the place is a poor-man's casino at best. Went back a year later and mot much has changed air quality wise. Given that players tend to do minimum bets, the casino has resorted to 2 cent machines. I played the slot machines and as expected, sorely disappointed. Switch to Blackjack tables and had no problem getting a seat, i.e., tables were empty. That should have been my clue to stay away. I sank $100 in less than 5 minutes play. Got a BJ and the payout was at 6/5 or 20 percent instead of 3/2 or 50 percent premium payout. Visited food eateries and prices have risen by over 30 percent in a year's time. Mojoe Pizza is inside this casino. I ordered a late night pizza with all meats. Very generous in size and priced nicely. This time it was perfectly cooked. Nice balance of sauce, cheese and toppings. If management really wanted this smoke box to evolve they should have sectioned off a portion that caters solely to smokers. The fact that we choose to spend our money at Seminole "Classic" Casino when we could spend it elsewhere should really be appreciated. Stopped into the Seminole Classic Casino on a Saturday evening. I came to just gamble a little bit before going out to watch the fight. Quality When I go to a casino in South Florida it is to play Blackjack, I do not play any of the slot machines or any other table games. That does not currently leave many options of places to go play, so the fact that Seminole Classic Casino has Blackjack already makes it an okay casino in my book. Quantity In terms of quantity when I arrived there were more than enough Blackjack tables for gamblers at any range. The casino was busy, but by no means packed. Value My understanding is that the Seminole Classic Casino always has at least one $5 table, but with that you get slightly worse payouts. However, there were plenty of $10 tables, which is something that typically cannot be said for the Hard Rock across the street. When it comes to wanting to spend less per hand, the Seminole Classic is the better option. Ambiance Now it must be understood that the Seminole Classic Casino is a gamblers casino. In no way are they making efforts to try and bring anyone except for gamblers into the casino. Perhaps they have a show or promotion, but this casino is meant for gambling. The food locations are made so you can grab a quick bite between hands. They do not have outdoor areas for breaks or constant events to keep a resort crowd interested. The casino is a long building filled with as many gambling apparatuses that would reasonably fit. It is also clear that very minimal efforts were placed on trying to reduce the smoke, probably because everyone in the casino is smoking anyway. So if smoke is a problem for you, probably stick to the Hard Rock. If you want to gamble with people who love gambling, this is the place for you. Crowd Every single person in the crowd looks like someone who should not be spending their money at the casino. However, they also are very likely to be regulars. Everyone looks ratty as if they spent the entire day gambling and that they likely do not have any concept of what time it is. It is a old and a disabled crowd. It is also a crowd that looks willing to push you out of the way if the machine they want opens up. Service I personally did not have any complaints with the security or the dealers. They seemed very nice and friendly. However, I did witness the pit boss completely mishandle a situation with another person at my table. After gambling for nearly an hour they then decided to ask for his id, which he did not have. The gambler said he was a regular and the other pit boss could vouch for him, but the pit boss made him leave without finding the other person. Sure enough though, not ten minutes later he was back with another supervisor who said he should never have been told to leave in the first place. It was embarrassing to watch and unsurprising since there was no one attempting to id people at the majority of doors or at the tables themselves. Parking There is a huge lot on both sides of the casino and if you park far away its usually not hard to flag the cart to give you a ride to the door. Extra The Seminole Classic Casino is exactly what you want out of a casino. It is not a resort complex like the Hard Rock it is a place where people come to gamble. I would not recommend it for people who are still beginners because you will agitate the actual gamblers.
