My pain always returns sometimes taking my breath away. Level 8 pain is excruciating and debilitating. Several years ago it was recommended that I meet with Dr Chad Frank. My friend was confident Dr Frank could offer relief from my suffering. I knew nothing about Osteopathic treatment but took the advice and made the appointment. My experience with the Non-Surgical Center for Physical and Sports Medicine Center has been wonderful. The waiting room never has more than one or two patients because the staff understand the value of patients time. It's a wonderful thing to be treated courteously by office staff. Dr Chad Frank has been able to relieve my back pain which allows me greater range of motion. I know that when my back "goes out" I can trust that Dr Frank will be there to help. I have practically crawled into the center at times because when my back acts up the pain is intense. After just one visit I realize significant relief from my agony. I have not used drugs or injections as part of my treatment with Dr Frank. I know it's an option, but I have not needed to do so. I feel blessed and grateful for Dr Chad Frank. My challenge with this practice is that at certain times of the day the small-ish space feels over-filled with patients, resulting in one's rehab plan becoming hindered or lacking because most of the equipment and treatment tables are in use at the same time. And for folks recovering from procedures & injuries, such chaos and crowding stressful at best, non-conducive to healing at worst. At slower times of the day the range of therapeutic options are very effective. That said, therapists have a tendency to congregate at the desk and chat amongst themselves vs. closely monitoring or effectively checking in with the 3-4 patients they are treating at one time. Whereas Kevin was much more involved with his patients, he is no longer with the practice, and I see no need to continue services there. Generally, as a rehab professional myself, I found all of the above disappointing.

Live with it or go through an invasive costly surgical procedure. Also plan upon months of therapy and recovery. Having been the victim of a botched surgical procedure in my youth, I'm really thorough about checking into who my surgeon is going to be and the facility in which the surgery is going to take place. After checking out everything I made an appointment with Dr.Ross Wodicka and couldn't have been more delighted. He's not only a great doctor but real good down to earth guy who carefully explains all your options and matters involving the procedure. Matter of fact, because of my age being 74, he wasn't cut happy and really wanted me to know what I was going to be put through in order to recover and whether I thought it would be worth it. Well, because I was unable to lift my martini glass to my lips (that's practically the definition of very serious), of course it was worth it. I might also add that Dr. Wodicka is a sports doctor specialist with a fellowship in a well-recognized sports orthopedic institute. So if one can trust the multimillion dollar shoulders and knees of professional athletes to him, I think I can trust mine to him too. Anyway my surgery went just fine. Matter of fact incredibly fine. I don't even have a surgical scar, never needed any pain meds and now near 8 months later 90% recovered and doing exceptionally well.

When told I had already received all of his speculative treatments (including an entire year of physical therapy, two branch blocks, an ablation and an epidural) and came here for another option, he told me to "try them again" and sent me away in tears. Tremendously disheartening experience- likely the worst I have ever had from a "doctor". At least he did one thing. He got me to write my first ever Yelp review. Save your time, peace, and money.
