The wait area is cozy with a tv (playing cartoons for the little folks), and a kuerig. The staff was friendly and helpful. The nurses were the best! Letting our little guy pick out his gown and coming equipped with a basket of goodies to occupy his time while the drugs started working. They answered all of our questions (as did the anesthesiologist) and allowed us to stay with our son until he was sedate in the procedure room. As soon as he was awake, they came to get us. A 3 year old coming out of anesthesia is not pleasant, but nurses Sherrill and Jami were on it, armed with popcycles, applesauce, and juice. Not once did they get flustered as our little sweetie screamed and fought, pulling at his iv and completely inconsolable. There was an issue in another surgery and we would never have known, had we not heard the alarms, because everyone was calm and cool and 100% professional. I have to say, I was a tiny bit apprehensive with a surgery for my child, not at a hospital, but this was a wonderful experience! This staff was top notch!

Before my appointment, my UT surgeon promptly emailed my knee MRI/records to ensure a proper evaluation, even calling me to confirm it was done. Awesome! Yet, during my consultation, Dr. Igolnikov and his assistant insisted they were never received. While there, I call UT, they confirm - again - with the day/time records were emailed. I'm directed to the front desk. No luck. I state I'm not leaving until they find the email (their eyes rolling), which two desk gals finally did 30min later (my eyes rolling). No apology. Just defensive excuses. Who hires these people?! Unfortunately, I still had to pay for a wasted visit. Billing department was no better. They required I prepaid for my self-pay appointment ($378). I did. Yet, a week later I received an emailed bill for $411 due. A few weeks later the same bill arrived by mail. I called billing and was told, they had overlooked my payment. The repeated administrative failures involving both medical records and billing - is unacceptable! Since they struggle with fundamentals, obviously I have no confidence in the organization and am not into "hoping" things will change at the risk of my time, money, and most importantly - my knees. As we waited, we sat comfortably in the reception area, which had a variety of refreshments and plenty of seating to pick and choose from. Shortly after, one of the surgical assistants (Pablo?) brought us into the consultation room and asked us questions on what brought us to their office. Then the assistant brought in Dr. Dustin Haupt to begin the consultation. Dr. Haupt was thorough with explaining the surgery as well as gave us ample time to go over any questions we may have for him. The clinic is small but well appointed, which lends to the personal feeling. The infusion rooms are comfortable and private. There is frequent follow up and measurement of how one is responding to treatment.
