    I have mixed feelings about this place. I love the building, my apartment, the finishes and the…read moreservice. Concierge and staff are super friendly but this building needs to maintain policy. The bedrooms facing the bay seemed to have been more expensive. I didn't mind paying more to have the stunning water view. Before I signed my lease, I was told the terrace and club room closes at 10pm. What a joke! There's endless amounts of parties happening way past 10pm. It's impossible to sleep when music is blasting and people are drunk partying. I was told by Lindsay to call the front desk whenever these late night episodes happened (which seems to be everyday during the summer). Every time I call concierge, I get a lame excuse like "the club room has been rented out for the night and there's nothing I can do" or "I have already informed them about the volume." Sometimes I don't understand why I pay so much in rent considering there's many nights I can't sleep due to the noise. Did I mention that my floors and walls literally vibrate when people play music in the club room? How does anyone get sleep? I can't even count the number of days I missed work because the sleepless nights. I'd rather face the smelly water control district or live somewhere else.. Edited review: Since I posted my review about a month ago, things have definitely changed for the better. Avalon has been doing an amazing job ensuring their tenants a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this building to anyone looking for a rental in the Great Neck area.

    I WAS ASKED NEVER TO RETURN TO THE BUSINESS…read more Stopped at a nearby coffee shop and parked in the parking lot of this real estate company, unaware of the fact that the parking lot was private. I also saw a few other people parking in that parking lot that were heading in different directions so I assumed it would be okay for me to park there, especially since I was just picking up a quick cup of coffee. Ten minutes later, I come back to find my car with a typed up poster taped to it saying that the parking lot is private and a handwritten​ message that said, "Dear Altima, I have recorded​ your car and license plate. Next time you park here you will be towed." As if that note wasn't significant enough, an employee walked up to me and said:​ "DON'T COME BACK HERE." As a person of color in an affluent neighborhood,​ you can imagine how disconcerting this expression was. An invitation never to return to an establishment is indicative of the fact that even if I park in this lot to enter your business I would not be welcome. She didn't even give me an opportunity to apologize for the misunderstanding by simply approaching me like a decent human being and saying, "this is a private parking lot, you can not park here if you are not visiting the business" or something of that sort. After disrespecting me she walked up to another person who had just parked in the lot and her approach was way more respectful and of course,​ was received by the driver in a better way than I did. As she was on her way back into the building she told me "Did you see how nice he was?" [No I didn't lady because he was inside his car and this is irrelevant because​ you reap what you sow. No sane person is going to respond to your disrespect with smiles and handshakes] As I pull out of the parking lot I see the lady taking photos of me on her iPhone while I'm sitting at the intersection. Based on the fact that the woman had these posters readily available to tape on peoples cars should give you an indication of how often the human mistake of misunderstanding the parking restrictions of this particular establishment is. After leaving, I had my legal representative call the business to speak to the manager and the women refused to do so and then hung up the phone midcall.

Petro told me they will condemn furnace soon if not replaced and house should be converted to gas heat. House has underground oil tank and water seeps in. You will be responsible for contact with oil company. Call Petro and ask them. If house was converted to gas, great, disregard, but I doubt it. This house is not worth $5800. Owner owns 38 old ox rd right around the corner and just rented it for $4,800. If you must live here negotiate. Check out rent estimate on Zillow first. Again, be prepared to have Petro in your house often during the winter. Also high oil bill, windows freeze up in the winter they are so old.

    Any small business owner, who is looking for a virtual office, please take my genuine advice to…read morefind somewhere else than Regus. They will do many sneaky way to charge you more and not provide a reasonable customer service to discuss about those charges that you never thought you will be charged. Here are what happened to me. 1. I signed up for month-to-month payment. They said there are no hidden charges but just one month+deposit. I read everything in the written contract and it seemed like there is no other charge. I signed up. 2. As soon as I signed up, they automatically billed me for 2 months of rental+deposit. I asked them why they charged me for June rental already if this is only May 4th? They said that the way things work. I asked for refund of June because I am only supposed to pay May+deposit. They said, first, I need to pay everything. I refused. 3. Then they charged me for late payment when it hit June and forwarded to collection. 4. I really hated to be charged for more late payment and screw up my credit scores so I paid everything May+June+deposit+late fee. By the ways, they gave me all those phone numbers (probably I got 8 different customer service related phone numbers) and email addresses. NONE of them returned a human-written email or answered by a human. None of them. They answered the phone once, when I paid my money but none of other calls and emails. 5. I called their numbers and emailed several times (to different emails) to get deposit back but all the phone numbers either put me in hold forever or hung off. (WOW!) So, I could not get my deposit back. 6. I wrote a negative feedback on Google Review. The owner of Regus Manhasset wrote me a reply and said I should email this matter to customerservice@regus.com so I did it. 7. Guess what? I emailed to customerservice@regus.com and the computerized reply from Regus said "Your message to customerservice@regus.com couldn't be delivered....etc. In conclusion, they charged me multiple month, not answered any customer service, did not return my deposit. I am a very busy person who hesitate to write any review to anywhere but I decided to write this so I can perhaps save any potential victims who are really trying to do their best in small businesses. My friends, who are reading this review, please, I warned you. Dear owner of Regus, are you going to give me a reply that says, "I am sorry to hear your experience. Email customerservice@regus.com......" again?
