I have no dental issues and know what I need and what I look for in a provider. I went to my initial appointment of X-rays and a consultation. I like it that way, because being a dental hygienist myself, I know every cleaning is different and you can't always get it done on the first appointment or sometimes, even in one appointment. I received professional care. The staff was friendly. It is a very new office, so there are a few glitches to work out, like scheduling and staffing. I look forward to this being my dental office for years to come.

I had an appointment with Aspen Dental in Hanover, PA on January 14, 2026. I was not pleased with…read moremy experience as it felt like they treated my teeth like a car warranty more than health. They kept offering me their version of Invisalign which I do not need. The doc offered it, I said no. The tech then offered it, I said no. And they wouldn't let me leave without seeing the office manager who offered it and I said no again. Confirming that I moved dentists and they said there is nothing wrong with the alignment of my teeth (this was my first time with any dentist in 30+ years every mentioning something like this to me before and pushing it on me). On January 20, 2026, I put in a formal request to have my records released to me (including X-Rays) as well as transferred to my new dentist office. Shortly after that, the secretary at Aspen Dental, Hanover confirmed she sent my request in. I called the Hanover office numerous times for my records but never received a call back. On March 10, 2026, I called corporate for the status of my records. They said they received my request but it wasn't processed and that they would process it then and I should receive my records to my email within 5-10 business days. It is now well over 10 business days and I have still not received my records. According to HIPAA regulations, they are try provide my records to me upon request. It has now been over 2 months since my original request and I have still not received my records and neither has my new dentist. Meaning, they are also not HIPAA compliant. Seems like they do anything they can to sell whatever people are gullible enough to buy from them and then they trap you there by not sharing your records. I will also be filing a complaint with the State Dental Board as the HIPAA violation is pretty serious. If they're violating it in this way, it makes me wonder what other illegal things this company is doing with patient information. I am legally entitled to my med records.

I am just overwhelmed with awe, about this Dental office…read more I have not been to the dentist, I think since I was probably 15 years old. I know, bad me, lol. Fast-forward 25 years later, it was time. I am genuinely not afraid of many things, however, visiting the Dentist terrifies me... well it did terrify me, but not anymore, not after my experience at this Dental office. I'm not even sure where to begin, as this office is all around amazing! The staff is genuine. They're all nice and caring. They're communicative. They're patient and even comical. I found this Dentist office, by chance; through a google and yelp search. I found other offices to call, but something told me to make an appt here, and I'm so glad that I did. Dr. Sherpa, office is a gem. They made me feel at home and at peace. Her staff is polite, positive, and helpful. Dr. Sherpa and her staff are a combination of class, down to earth, professional and empathetic. I felt like I was at one of those family-owned Dentistry, like in one of those family movies you find on Netflix, with a golden retriever in the background. What I got done: So, my visit required me to have a filling, that I got back in college, removed and replaced with a cap. I wasn't sure what that meant, as I've never had a cap before. Dr. Sherpa conducted a short 1:1 with me, explaining to me, (words and pictures) what that would look like and what it would entail. I had some cavity there. I also had some cavity at the upper back part of my mouth/tooth. Not bad for not going to a dentist for 25 years lol. In order to get my filling removed, Dr. Sherper, had to numb my mouth. She talked to me every step of the way. She explained how it may feel, every step of the way. Here assistant was amazing and did the same. Honestly, it was not as painful as I thought it would be. Dr. Sherpa was very skilled at massaging my mouth and my gums as the numbing was happening. I'm sure she used other techniques that she developed throughout her training or career as well that helped, and I appreciate it that so much. Overall, the process was smooth. As of this review, I have seen her about three times. And will continue to do so for my routine visits, and maybe teeth whitening.

Our family of four and I have been very happy customers of The Schiff Dental Group since 2015…read more They came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Karen, Dr. Ali, Dr. Moniz, and Dr. Zurek have been professional, caring and competent, as has the office staff. Yesterday I received a bill for a service that was rendered in October 2020. This was the first bill that I received for the treatment and it had a $20 finance charge included. Prior to the new year, I had called the office to make an appointment for my husband and also asked about our bill since I had recently had dental surgery and was told there was no balance due. At that time, I commented that I was surprised and was told it may still be in process with the insurance company. The first bill I had in hand arrived yesterday. Today I called Schiff Dental office and explained that this was the first bill I received and that I would appreciate the removal of the finance charge. The bill is dated 1/1/21 but arrived yesterday. There were no prior bills received. I called in good conscience to review my bill and from the start I felt accused and attacked by the office manager. I tried to explain that with a pandemic and a postal service issues, I had not received a bill. She told me I knew I had $XXXX worth of service in October and since I knew, it should have been paid and I was responsible for the entire $XXXX. I advised that I will submit a payment of $XXXX today and follow up in my next pay period to pay in full. I was also told today that multiple attempts were made to contact me by phone, but after reviewing my phone records, I have received no calls from the Schiff Dental Office since the follow up call after the procedure in October. I have always been treated kindly and professionally by the office staff, but the office manager was difficult and accusatory. I called today with the intention of paying my bill today, but asked in good conscience to have the finance charge removed since it was the first bill that I received. Our call was frustrating and I struggled to discuss my issue because of the obstinate attitude. I have every intention of paying my bill and my appointment in October 2020 was scheduled to coincide with a lump sum deposit into my HSA at year end. The appointment timing was planned with that in mind and the funds remains in my account to pay for my procedure. I asked to please speak to a supervisor and was told that Dr. Schiff was her supervisor and there was "no way" that he would call me back. I advised that I would like to speak to someone else prior to sending my payment and the office manager stated that perhaps I should get a lawyer. I again reiterated that I want to pay my bill, but should not have been charged a finance charge. She stated that she is the office manager and that there is no other supervisor, adding it was her job to collect the bills and because that is her job, there was no way she would let Dr. Schiff know that she was not doing her job. I will reiterate that I fully intend to pay my bill and it was the finance charge that I was questioning, but my conversation with the office manager was so unlike any other conversation with anyone else at Schiff Dental Office and as a customer, I feel it's necessary to have a conversation with someone else. I have never before been treated so coldly by any other member of The Schiff Dental Group staff. It is sad that our family is going to have a find a new Dental Care provider over a $20 finance charge. I'm sure it's also not the intention of The Schiff Dental Group to lose a family of four, three of whom have significant dental needs, over $20. We loved going to our dental visits, but as the office manager said, I knew about my $2000 worth of treatment and should have paid my bill already, so that leaves things feeling quite awkward, doesn't it?

The…read morewait times can sometimes be long if you have an appointment during a peak time-- evenings and weekends but I don't mind because it keeps me from having to miss work and my daughter from missing school. If you get a Saturday appointment you can show up early as not to plan your day around a trip to the dentist. For instance, I had a 1pm appointment last Saturday, called at 8:30 am and they said I could come whenever I was ready! We were in and out by 10. Once you get checked in, the staff briefs you and your child on the procedure they will be doing for the day and then you head back to the lobby and your child heads to the exam area. The office is decorated with whimsical themes from underwater aquariums, sponge bob and other children's characters. There are old school video games like Pac Man and Qpert in the lobu which are free of charge. The tv plays the latest in Disney/Pixar while you wait. Once your child is done the tech calls you tower with your child again and reviews any further work that needs to be done, answers your questions and suggests your follow up appointment. I've never seen a child unhappy before entering or leaving Doc Bresler's. The kids also get to pick prizes when they are finished their sppointment and always get a new toothbrush! I would definitely recommend if you have a child who is a first timer or who is fearful of the dentist. They have an orthodontist and they also see adults!

I was frustrated because my kid had an emergency appt for a tooth repair. Once I got to the office, I checked in and waited 40 minutes. I was told they were short staff and weren't able to do the repair. Okay, understandable, but I need a better explanation as to how it is okay to not notify me prior to me leaving work and signing him out early to come to an appointment that wasn't going to happen. Then, to find out they x-ray the broken tooth, but that was all. So I'm livid because now it's seeming as though yell are just tryna get paid for a service. What I didn't appreciate was how short the Dr was. He body language came off as condescending and irritated. She asked if I wanted to speak to the office manager after her offering me no options or alternate I said yes and she than proceeded to storm off , call me hun and say that's all I can offer you. The office manager came out and apologized for the mishap, offered to have all his routine needs completed (since we already here), and scheduled me for a 1st in the morning slot 2 days later. I'm still not happy that nobody could call to state the repair couldn't be completed or to reschedule the appointment, but at the very least, I felt heard by the practice manager. However that young dentist needs to learn how to deal with and speak to patients and parents of in a less condescending and offensive manner
