The system confirmed the appointment, emails were sent to confirm the appt. We showed up and of course, they were closed. Then why did they book the appointment? He waited and went after Christmas. He got hit with a "no show" notice for not showing up on Christmas Eve.

At the time of each visit, I was not charged a co-pay because my insurance does not require me to pay a co-pay for primary care. In June I started receiving threating letters saying this is my final notice. My account is seriously past due. Unless payment in full is received by due date, my account will be referred to a collection agency and may be reported to one or more national credit reporting agencies. I called their billing department to resolve the problem. Their billing department did not even try to help. They said it was the insurance problem and nothing they could do. I called them tree times, and they refused to check to see why I was being charged. Each time they said it was the insurance company and there was nothing they could do. I have been fighting this for three months. I cancel all future appointments with Lovelace Medical Group because they were causing me more harm and stress instead of helping me stay healthy. During the three months I have been fighting them with my insurance company, I found out they are charging me as if the nurse practitioner is some kind of specialist. The medical office I was going to said they do not show me owning anything and that the nurse practitioner is primary care. I am not sure if Lovelace Medical Group is incompetent or if they are intentionally ripping people off. I am never going back to them, and I recommend that anyone looking for primary care or any other medical not go to Lovelace Medical Group. I have excellent credit. Lovelace Medical Group has caused me so much stress and anxiety threating to ruin my credit and not trying to solve the issue. Their only solution is for me to pay the money they are extorting from me. I thought finding medical groups through my insurance with a company in network would be safe. I was wrong. You need to check not just to see if they are in network but to see if they are a good and legitimate company. Read reviews of patients and former patients.
