Highly recommend. Very safe dojo. Padded walls with no sharp objects near the training area. There…read moreis a separate area where you could work on a technique with a partner. The bathrooms are clean and there are organizational racks for gear bags and shoes. The instruction is very good and is on a tight schedule, i.e. for kids 5:30 to 5:35 warmup, technique introduction and practice 5:35 to 5:50, practice on technique controlled rolling until 6:10, cooldown and bow out with class ending exactly at 6:15. The kids get to hang around and play on mat 15 minutes before and after class. I think this actually motivates the kids to come to class. The professor is liberal in a case by case basis for kids that have enough strength, technique, to go to the 10 to 18 year old class. They can either do both classes or some parents who have older children will have thier younger kids go to the junior class if they can hang. Attendance varies wildly. I have seen 24 kids in children's class to only four on Fridays, which tend to be small classes. They are very flexible for people who have to withdraw for moving, or even temporarily for an injury. The only two negatives that I have noted is on having two instructors when the classes were larger than twenty in the kid's class. The second negative is that there is limited seating for parents which could be easily resolved with some folding chairs.

Returning to jiujitsu has been very fulfilling, but having the right leadership (Black belt(s)/Professors, Coaches, and Colored belts) has made ALL the difference. Flow305 takes a family approach to their members. I competed in my first ever match and have found a newfound appreciation for jiujitsu, wrestling, and other fighting sports. Being in the +40 age group it was important to me to find a learning environment that was both welcoming for me, but also for my kids. Flow305 was recommended to me by a friend that I exercise with and many members have joined by word of mouth. Flow305 offers pre dawn morning classes for busy professionals and parents, lunch weekday season, afternoon (post workday sessions) and Saturday sessions. Additionally, they offer members exposure to other fight sports - inclusive of other days not preciously mentioned. Lastly, Flow305 comes together and supports its members in matches local and non local. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND FLOW305 to parents for their kids, and all age groups interested in jiujitsu.
