The nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Doctors are very personable and friendly. I particularly like the updates to care they've implemented with the additions of the Nurse Practitioners and PAs. Helps speed things along for urgent care - which you can also do here. If you need to use an Urgent Care clinic, you can. However, I've been able to get same-day urgent care appointments when needed, also. My daughter has some particularly challenging medical needs. Her primary care physician works well with the specialists at MUSC.

I really like the way the Greenville Hospital System handles patient care- You have your Primary Care Physician, and then if you have a problem they refer you to someone within GHS, but they are still following your care. My only complaint is that if you need a prescription, and you must obtain it outside of an office visit they charge you $10.00

On the day of my appointment -- half an hour before I expected the call -- I got a phone call telling me I had to come in person. I could NOT, which is the reason I scheduled on the phone... I was told the cancellation wouldn't be held against me. The front desk lady fumbled around on the schedule and scheduled an in person visit for two days later. I woke up to more news about the measles outbreak and decided it was unsafe to go in person as I have a five month old baby who would have to come with me. Just a few hours later I received a MyChart letter addressed by Brittany Ellis, NP (thought this was fairly unprofessional. Why not use the clinic name?) telling me I was no longer welcome to schedule there because I "canceled" two visits. I canceled ONE visit. They allowed me to schedule a phone appointment and then told me "OOPS! Not sure why it let you do that!" Just very much annoyed I was told the first cancellation wouldn't be held against me since the system allowed it to be scheduled in error. I cannot find good primary care in the upstate and this continues to be true. Cannot wait to move.

I…read morethink it's great being cautious with this covid and every Dr. Office I've been as long as as people have on their masks when entering they can walk in out of the cold and wind and so their information in private and then sit down. This office has a table and women standing in the door asking every question imaginable, (exp do you have a runny nose ,blah blah and do you have diarrhea?) out loud for everyone to hear the responses and they spray your hands take your temperature before going in. Even if you know the drill she keeps going on and you just keep saying no like she has been programmed and can't stop from her routine. Then as you walk in another one had a clip board out loud where it is not private says: Do you still live at...... Do you still have the same insurance..... What's your Birthday..... Everyone in the waiting area can hear your responses and write down your address I am serious!!! This is the 2nd time dealing with this and I can see other people's expressions as well like really!??? What happen to privacy? These working the door certainly don't practice that! This is the only part I can not stand about going here. Otherwise the Dr. Is great. When leaving you don't stop to make any appointments you just leave and they will call when the next appointment is due for you to come in.

The nurse, Danya, was very friendly and personable. She took my vitals while chit chatting about this and that and acted as we were long lost friends. She left he room and within a couple minutes, the PA Tami Ford came in to go over bloodwork results. all the times I've been here before the doctor never came in until 10 or 15 minutes passed. She treated me with professionalism and respect, listened to my concerns and even talked about my prescriptions and how they counter act with each other. Although I rarely use the on call, it is phenomenal. These Doctors truly care about their patients and Dr Rennard is genuinely interested in me and my family. HE listens and answers my questions and he has a very very good "bedside" manner. HE has encouraged me in my health in ways no other physician has taken the time to do. Office manager and staff have not one shred of empathy for people who have been through losses…read more They are condescending, and have refused me healthcare multiple times today, and are beyond unprofessional when it comes to medical notes. They didn't explain to me at all why my request was continuously denied, these are women btw, you would think they would have a bit more of an understanding when it comes to pregnancy losses, and pregnant women with autoimmune diseases. Anyways, they lost three patients today. This is honestly the very first issue I have had over here so it's really disappointing. I have no issues with the doctors I have seen, ( Dr Pollard and Dr Jones-Moon, who actually did tell me two different things in the situation) but their female nurses and office manager both have awful bedside manner considering their professions. I and my mother spoke to these women today, and they are super caddy and unprofessional. All I needed today was reassurance and an explanation, and for some reason these two things are not within their capabilities as healthcare professionals.
