The Barber shop is located in Sarti Tailors right at the front window it's hard to miss. It has a cool old fashion style. Right away you will be greeted by Bert himself, his friendly character will come across right from the get go. He will help and assist you with any inquiry you have with his laid back and honest approach whether it be a haircut, wet shave or products to use. I recently got a haircut here and was delighted with the results and never felt rushed out the door even when he had people waiting. For a great hair cut and feeling relaxed at $35 in the city, I think is a bargain!!

Caveat Emptor…read more Second time coming to this place. The first time I got a decent haircut and the banter was good. Today though - not so much. I asked for a 1 on the sides and back with just a trim on top since I've been growing my hair out. The guy started out fine, but man, he just kept cutting... and cutting... and cutting. I watched as my hair went from around two inches in length to a half inch on top. I was horrified. I could feel my face go red and I couldn't muster even a fake smile. Not sure what "trim" translates as to you, but according to this guy it means "make me look like I'm going to boot camp." Just a terrible cut. Won't be going back for another mystery cut. I'll have to find another place once my hair grows back. In the meantime, I have a nice collection of beanies that will get plenty of use in the next several months. TL;DR - No matter what you ask for, you're getting whatever cut the "barber" feels like giving.

You get ushered in (no bookings), thrown into a chair, have a 5 second conversation about what you want and bam! They start. I've had many trims here over the years and like how fast and easy it is. It's always a roll of the dice for who you get cutting you hair. Some are really good, others just average. No one is completely terrible though. If you're after a quick trim and don't care about all the little details this is your place.

This has NEVER happened before with any other businesses we have visited. It seems that being a bit different is not tolerated by this business. Another customer left with us in protest at this shocking treatment. Such discrimination should never be tolerated in this country.
