Love this place! Excellent tourist stop. They have all the jerky, bbq sauces, hot sauces, and candy you could want! Not to mention fun and unique sodas. The two women inside were very welcoming and nice! I got to try a fair few samples of the different jerkies. I never buy any because i could eat the whole bag in one sitting and it's a bit much to pay. But i did get some chamoy gummy bears, jerk sauce, bbq sauce, and chili lime popcorn. And 4 honey sticks. Love those things. They also have a lotion brand in there and my mom bought a couple; one even had cbd in it which i wanted to try but i have some at home already. Maybe next time. Jerky, a staple of the American Road Trip and you can find a lot of it at this location, many different flavors of beef, pork and chicken along with Elk, Venison and Buffalo, need some hot sauce, or candy or cold soda they go that too along with some other food items that would make great gifts or snacks for the rest of your trip. Prices are very average for a jerky store, $10 each or 3 for $27, hot sauces were average price as well for some of the more exotic and dangerous flavors. It's not a cheap place to stop but it is not over priced when compared to other similar businesses. Staff was very friendly and efficient. So after seeing about 523 billboards (actually only about 6), we had to stop here in beautiful Quartzite, Arizona because they obviously sell really good fresh jerky. That's what they say, anyway. For $9 a bag. For that price, thanks but no thanks. They will give you small samples of the jerky and the ones we tried were indeed really good and fresh but I'm still not paying 9 buckaroos a bag. They did have a nice selection of old-timey soft drinks for $2.50 each and we did grab a few to try. There's also snacks and candies and a zillion different hot sauces and such here. The store is much smaller than you might imagine but it's got a bunch of snacks and drinks and novelty items, if that's what you are looking for. We saw this billboard as we were finally heading q ack home to OC, it was still an hour or so til we arrived, So glad we decided stopped. Service was a disaster. First of all, I walked in and told the lady up front I had a small item from nextdoor. She shakes her head in a negative way which I decided to ignore. Then my son had to use the restroom and it was locked and he asked, "is there a key?" She replied nastily, "if the doors locked there's someone in it, how's that?" I preceded to shop then took two Daniel's fresh items salsa and bbq sauce. Went to counter and she told the family ahead of me "and next time don't bring those in here" referring to their lid sodas. Then looked at me and said '"I don't like when those come in either". IT WAS A CLOSED, SEALED BAG. I left my items on the counter and told her "Thanks for letting my kid use the restroom" and walked out. I wouldn't return here if it was the last salsa,bbq place on earth. Headed back to California from Az I spotted this place and thought to myself "why not I like beef jerky" and boy howdy was I in for a treat. I grabbed me some beef jerky and was really impressed by the freshness and flavor, I'm a teriyaki man myself but I did have a few samples that were kindly offered to me. I also did some random browsing and found some peanut butter balls that were amazing . Everyone in the store was so delightful I felt welcomed immediately such a great ambiance.In all honestly I could easily spend $300 dollars in this store with zero regrets. This place is SO cute! Definitely a tourist hot spot! But I'm a sucker for beef jerky and hot sauce so I HAD to stop by. I could have easily spent a good hour just looking at all the hot sauce, but I also really wanted to go home and shower (I think this was hour 3 in the car and we had like 3 more hours). I didn't know which hot sauce to get, I wanted a super duper spicy one but one that also tastes good. They all had such funny names, but eh. The majority is beef, but other meat options are pork, chicken, turkey, elk, venison, and tuna. Most of the options are available to sample. Just come up to the counter and ask. Aside from jerky, there are sauces, candies, and other gift items too. The shelves are stocked full of different things to choose from. The jerky is pretty good. Someone pays a decent amount to get signs out up all along the freeway so we all knew exactly where it was for at least an hour out. The sample lady seemed really grumpy, but I would also be grumpy if I had to give people little squares of overly seasoned meat all day. The meat squares were yummy so we got some dried snacks, some insanely overpriced jerky, and went off on our merry road-tripping way. Would I recommend it? Not really. We both had to use the restrooms and they were AWESOMELY clean. Note to self, stop here instead of Blythe next time. They have loads of snacks, candies, hot sauces and marinades, honey, and a small selection of drinks. We got beet chips, peach gummies, and some jerky to snack on. Jerky is three bags for $20. A bit pricey, but this stuff is great! You can sample before you buy, we tried maybe five kinds and then decided we needed two of the Sweet & Spicy Brisket Jerky and one of the Cowboy. Brisket Jerky is amazing, and i'm not even a big fan of jerky. You can buy it online too, I am pretty sure we will be doing that since all the jerky is almost gone. Their drinks are unusual, I got a Sweet Corn Soda and my boyfriend got Apple Pie Soda. Both tasted exactly like what they are called. So weird. On our road trip back from AZ, we saw the billboard for Daniel's Really Good Fresh Jerky. The name itself draws you in already. We needed to pull over to fill up the gas tank so we made a pit stop here. The store is fairly small but it offers so many varieties of beef jerky, dried fruits/nuts, and hot sauces. This store will make you hooked on beef jerky. We couldn't decide on which flavors because there are so many. They even have buffalo and turkey jerky. The nice lady at the counter offers free samples of most flavors on the shelf. We got the 3 for $22 deal. It's much better than $8/bag. You really can't have just one on a 6-hrs drive home to OC. We chose the peppered beef, sweet and spicy beef, and whiskey bbq beef. All flavors were good! My fave is the peppered beef. It's a hickory smoke flavor and has a bit of a peppered kick.
