I rushed to eat ... so good. Huevos rancheros, rice, beans, two kinds of salsa. Really really good.

The best Mexican family food. Not Taco Bell. You order at the window of the trailer, and you go and get it when done. The food is heavenly. Authentic. Made with love.

Bomb! Totally didn't expect this. Hidden gem, one of the best tacos I've ever had. Will come back again for sure.

    Queso Birria Tacos and rice

After looking at other reviews, we decided to give this place a try. The staff was welcoming and very patient with all of our questions. I ordered the taco plate, opting for two Queso Birria tacos and one chicken taco. I asked for double rice instead of beans. The Birria tacos had plenty of meat and cheese, although they were a little greasy. The chicken taco was delicious! The rice was pretty bland but was fine after I added some garlic salt to it when I got home. My husband had the Carne Asada taco and said he would give it 3, maybe 4 stars, and mentioned he would try the chicken taco next time. The Salsa they provided was excellent, and they had a small table with even more salsa options we could try. Due to a miscommunication between the owner and her staff, they initially forgot to make my chicken taco. However, they gave us two free sodas for the mix up. There is outside seating that was clean, but we opted for take home since it was a bit chilly out. Overall, we enjoyed our food and we will be back to try some other items.

So to start off I saw this place has a 5 star rating and then looked at only 2 reviews. The kind of thing that make me go hummmm. Well today I was going to find out if this place was truly worth 5 stars or not. I had a chorizo breakfast burrito and my wife went with the bacon one. We were quickly offered free coffee from the cheerful lady behind the counter. She said coffee was free with the burrito purchase. Our burritos were made fresh and we went with the "hotter" salsa. The burritos were loaded and the flavors just popped out. I was pretty hungry and it filled me up. For 12 bucks out the door for both of us to be full and very pleased with our meals this is a true bargain. My overall feeling and the star rating I am giving this place is a 5 stars. I now know the other two 5 star reviews were earned and maybe just not enough people know about this place. It is right off of interstate 10 in the Rice Ranch center. The corner cross streets are Central (hwy 95) and Kuehn St. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. They do close around 6 or when they run out of food. BTW this is a cash only place.

Wow... great tacos & chile relleno!! Ma'ias little food truck isn't much to look at, but the food was fantastic. Awesome service too... really nice ladies. Glad we stuck to our "eat local while vacationing"rule... there's not a lot to choose from out here, and McDonald's looked semi tempting.

No free chips and salsa here, cost $4.99. seemed everyone liked their food. I ordered 2 Chilli Relleno plate $18.75 because it's something I wouldn't make for myself at home. Bland, 2 stars. I added quite a bit of salt. Overall my entree was unremarkable Service was good enough. She poured more water, asked us if everything was OK. But when I asked for more sauce, she didn't tell me it cost $2.50 extra. So I took it out and of her tip, cos she wouldn't take it off my bill.

Looking over the menu I decided on a machaca and egg burrito. I asked for beans to be added, because it came with potatoes and I did not want potatoes. She asked if I wanted some salsa and I said yes. My order did not take long, about 10 minutes and I got it to go. My dog was in my vehicle so that's why I got it to go. When I pulled back the paper wrap I was surprised to find that the flour tortilla was orange but that sure did not take away from the burritos flavor. The meat, eggs, beans, cheese and that hot sauce was absolutely great. One of the best machaca burritos I have eaten. The total cost of my burrito was $13.91 and well worth it.

Coffee was good, besides not getting a spoon to stir my coffee, that's okay. Coffee was great nonetheless. Breakfast was really good too. HashBrowns was cooked to perfection. Eggs were cooked well too and toast was delicious for sourdough, except I would have liked more butter, but that's okay too. This place is located right next door to a Mc Donald's- (Dick move on corporations) I suggest you give this place a try while driving through Quartzsite for breakfast. There was only one server, Josh, running the entire front of the house by himself. Apparently this is customary on Wednesdays. Before he could seat us, he had to clear off a table. Several tables were just in disarray and when people came in, this poor man had to scramble to clean something off. I went to the bathroom and one stall had absolutely no toilet paper or covers. And one dispenser had no soap. The bathroom was just yucky. When I came back, we still didn't have menus or drinks. When our food came, we asked for condiments that took too long that we ended up taking them from another table. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The cook gave me a stale biscuit that just ruined my meal. I couldn't eat it or ask for it to be remade because Josh was too busy to check in on us or refill our drinks. I told him when he came to pick up the plates. He apologized, but he didn't remove it from the check. I paid $10 for a meal I couldn't eat. We got a piece of pie and the taste was kind of weird...like it had been freezer burned and then defrosted. The whole experience was disappointing.

The owner was sweet as could be gave Loretta and I big hugs as we were leaving. The young lady that served us took great care of us. Loretta ordered The #15. 3 Shredded Beef Flautas with Beans and Rice. Very well Seasoned and Tasty. I Ordered The #11. Shredded Beef Chimichanga with rice topped with Enchilada Sauce. Wow stuffed with lots of excellent seasoned beef. It's a meal to share. I also just had to try The Chili Relleno for Loretta and I to share. It turned out to be both of ours favorite of the night. The owner to us the sauce on the relleno she makes special and can only be had on this dish. It was so tasty I wanted to lick the plate. All and All everything was very enjoyable and we will be back for more of the menu. If you haven't been it's worth the visit.

I honestly have to say that it was hands down the BEST guacamole I have ever had. The chimichanga was good but the enchilada sauce is a bit overbearing and the chicken had no spice at all. The rice was tasty but it wasn't hot when it arrived. The server was friendly and did a fine job. It was dark when we arrived so the outdoor seating was closed but it looked like it was a really nice seating area. The interior was very clean and welcoming. We will definitely try it again. I'll ask them to hold the enchilada sauce and I'll add salsa to it to spice it up a bit.
