Stacks are well-organized by genre and shelves have large alphabetical tabs to ease your searches. There are, quite literally, books everywhere: under the stairs leading down to the basement, in closets, in bins, on carts, etc. Posters, CDs, DVDs, and other non-bibliographic goods can also be purchased here. The staff members are friendly, pleasant, and more than willing to help you find what you're looking for. As an added bonus, you can visit the store's website for an up-to-date list of inventory and even place holds (I believe) on items you want. Prices are very reasonable. My mother and I spent close to 2 hours browsing and enjoying the music piped throughout the store. We both found several items that we liked and were pleased to hear that Bay Used Books enjoys a good deal of business - used book stores in Nova Scotia certainly don't seem to do so, which is a dreadful shame. I will most certainly be returning to Bay Used Books if and when I return to Sudbury.

The layout is a bit different than other Walmarts that I'm used to. The meat department can also be hit or miss. I have no idea when to go in order to have all the meat cuts that you'd like to purchase. There's a ton of ground beef, medium although I'm not sure how medium it is common meaning it's pretty much mostly fat. It's weird it's not like that always. Also their dog treats and dog pee pad and dog flea products could use some reordering. So many times I've gone and I've either got the last one or there's none. I rarely if ever had a different experience Checkout: Is there anything worse than Walmart checkout? Just a reminder there's no more bags you have to bring your owner by them. And if it's a long weekend there's no bags to buy. Staff: I mean if I worked at Walmart I'd be surley too. One thing I've noticed about The Shoe Company is that its stores are generally reflective of what is advertised on its website - also, you can order shoes online and pick them up in store for free. They've got things here that are perfect if you live nearby and need them in a pinch and are too lazy to walk over to Shoppers, Dollarama or Wally Mart. I frequent(ed) this store often and didn't really see anything wrong with it. They sometimes get in liquidation stock from other stores. Like one time, I remember they had these old Gameboy carrying cases, where the box had water damage and they were at least 20 years old. (they were for the original brick-style Gameboy) Other times, I'd find bootleg DVD's in their DVD bin. Edit: As of July, 2015, Buck or Two in the Rainbow Mall has closed up permanently. I think a Dollarama is moving in there soon.
