I have used the services of PC Paramedics several times in the past. Yesterday my the screen on my daughter's MacBook Pro broke. I called Frank after their 6:00 closing time and he answered right away. After discussing the problem I took the laptop in for him today to have a look at. He was very informative and considerate of my daughters situation. He got back to me very quickly and let me know my options. I was in a real mess. My life was on my laptop, then it suddenly stopped working. I live an hour away from PC Paramedics. I took it in at noon that day, and they looked at the laptop right away, gave me my options, and had me on my way by 2:30 pm. NO return trip - NO hassles. Done right, very professional and within reason as far as cost goes. Worth the 1-hour trip. I am EXTREMELY pleased to offer a 10/10 for this caring business. Had a laptop damaged by a flood, said data was unrecoverable. Brought the hard drive home, plugged it in and managed to get every single gig downloaded off of it with no problems or work arounds. It's like they didn't even try. Then we sent a laptop in for a charging problem. Received the laptop back with its "New" motherboard, and gave us a new charger because they lost the one we gave them. Brought it home and got the exact same problems before we brought it in. Again, it's like they never even tried to fix the problem. How the fuck are they still in business? read more

My computer wasn't working and was infiltrated with viruses, I admit that was my fault, but I needed their help anyways because even in safe mode my computer wasn't working properly. Instead of removing the viruses all they did was do a system restore and the viruses were still there just fixed the one problem temporarily, they had lost the cover for the docking port at the bottom of the laptop. I paid $90 for something I could have done with the click of a button. Not only did they not remove the viruses but they did not format my computer like I asked them too. If it weren't for some good people. I wouldn't not recommend this place to anyone, no one there has had any proper training or education probably. read more

I bought some toner cartridges for my OKI C301 printer after they called me and promoted their service. I have to say delivery was prompt and fast. The complain is that the price is more than double from other supplier. I was shocked to find out that a set of cartridges cost more than $700. I would be better off to buy a new printer. read more

Be warned...my elderly mother went here to get her laptop fixed. Beyond the fact that, in my opinion, she overpaid for this repair, she was also sold a "refurbished" $170 monitor and cable. She wasn't happy with the image, and when I visited recently she asked me to take a look. I was flabbergasted that she had paid that much for a used, outdated monitor (which she thought was new), and more so that an apparently informed saleperson simply wouldn't have advised my mother that she could purchase a new, working and up-to-date monitor for $170 (which I did for her) . Further, Frank, the owner here, told me he wouldn't refund the monitor as my mother had it too long (less than 4 months, and used it a few times before giving up), and has ultimately suggested that she go to the Better Business Bureau with her complaint. As I left the monitor and cable with Frank, he's now informed me that he's trashing it if I don't pick it up within 30 days....at least he's confirmed its true value, and that he has little interest in satisfied customers. read more
