I highly suggest not going at opening for the produce area; the associates are typically stocking at this time so there are a lot of empty spots & carts full of produce all around. It's tough to navigate with a cart & other people trying to get by, but it's not a big deal. The deli area tends to be fully stocked with pre-sliced cheese & meat. It's convenient to pick through & find the quantity you want. The average weight is 1 lb. which is perfect for me & my husband. The seafood counter is not always staffed but the associates in the meat dept. can help cover. Lester in the meat dept. is a wonderful employee that will not ignore anyone. He's prompt to ask if he can help you find anything. He will come out from behind the counter to assist you.

Why did I wait so long to visit the Healthy Buffalo?!…read more My husband & I stopped in right when they opened on a Sunday morning. We were immediately greeted & assisted by the owner, Jason. He was beyond friendly & wanted to make sure our questions were answered. The freezers are conveniently labeled so that you can find the products you desire. Love that they bring in various vendors, including Fossil Farms (NJ) but also some local NH products. There are also other products, such as dressings, marinades, seasonings, etc. for sale. The store is small but very clean. Taking a left onto route 4 is a challenge but still worth a visit. The prices are extremely fair! There is also a rewards program where you can get $ off for every so many points. We signed up that very day & already have 58 points. For example, you earn $5 off for 50 points, or $10 for 100 points etc. Worth it to me! Jason said they are currently working on a new location in Epsom at the circle. It will have a different name & more of a butcher shop. He plans to keep The Healthy Buffalo open for another year, depending on inventory & how sales go with the new location.

I don't even drink soda, but I was completely taken by this store's dedication to it. The first thing I saw walking in was a wall of boxed Coke. One soda aisle itself had varieties and flavors I'd never seen before--and even beyond that aisle, soda kept popping up throughout the store. The flower section was also surprisingly lovely. They have a refrigerated, self-service room where you can walk in, pick a vase, and build your own display, which was a sweet touch. Being in New Hampshire, prices were noticeably cheaper than in the Boston area as well. Overall, a solid Shaw's.

This store offers Mobil gasoline and the basic grocery items (including the Shur Fine label), frozen foods, snacks, candy, newspapers, magazines, cold beverages, baked goods, and 13 kinds of fresh brewed Green Mountain Coffee (self serve carafes). There's a full service food/deli counter & grill offering breakfast items, sandwiches, pizza, special comfort dishes, sides, and Roadies Chicken meals (pay for your food at the front register). Grocery items are on the pricey side (the closest supermarket is 9 miles away) and the prepared foods prices are reasonable. The layout inside this old fashioned general store with old wood floors is pretty cramped and packed. There's also a self serve table seating area in the side room which also has bagged ice and DVD rentals. On the way out to the eastern Lakes Region, I stoppped here for breakfast takeout. They already had cheese pizza slices in the glass case, which looked dry. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (with egg & sausage on a roll), hash browns, and coffee. However, the breakfast sandwich was just okay since there was a normal sized round fried egg with a grilled sausage patty and a whole lotta soft chewy roll (too much salty bread ratio to the proteins between the bun). The hash brown patty was deep fried crispy, almost identical to a McDonald's hash brown. The cup of Green Mountain Coffee (original) was very hot and brewed just right. The parking in front is a bit tight and there's also parking along Maple Street in front of the store.

Leave the truck with service to have tires installed go start my shopping get an email 10 minutes later appointment canceled, whats up with that. Go to service counter speak with tech who proceeds to tell me my truck weighs 12000 lbs and is to heavy for the lift. They already canceled my appointment and started a refund for the install what about the tires well you have to call this 800 number to get a return ok load them in the back of my truck. Meantime I already know the truck weighs no where near 12,000 lbs that is the GVRW, the curb weight is 8206 lbs but I could tell they needed an excuse the whole crew played into the fact it was to big for their lift and proceeded to tell me the crapy equipment that walmart provides them to work with. I drive another 2hrs home and call the number for the store manager they had a big sign on the wall in the service department and get a menu for all the departments store directory. Dial zero for operator speak to person on the other end who tells me the manager is busy and cant take my call, I tell her I have a problem with automotive and need to speak with her; ok you'll have to wait a few minutes she is busy ok so hold. Dead air crickets waiting holding...after 3 minutes I hang up fuming my time is valuable too. I would not have any work on my vehicle that does not know how to look up specifications on a vehicle so I'd BEWARE! if you go their expecting to get work done to your car feeling lucky.

I had no idea this store existed until somebody told me about it at the barbershop. I live about 20…read moremiles away, and we're used to a smaller Market Basket in Warner and a competing store from a Maine-based conglomerate based in our hometown, which shelves often resemble a grocery store in the old Soviet Union. This store is gigantic. Not only that, but it's ready-to-go food sections are immense. Extremely well, equipped, full shelves, great variety of organic products, a huge meat section, an entire containers full of frozen fish, in addition to fresh seafood at the meat counter. I found the service to be excellent, with numerous people ambling by filling their carts while busy employees, restocked shelves consistently. For the life of me, I don't understand why this grocery chain does not have self checkout aisles. I invariably do my own to make sure that my vegetables are not bruised or damage when I get home, which usually is the case when I go through a checkout counter. I really like this place. Will be back.
