It's an old building behind the library. They did a great job renovating it and keeping the old feel. Oysters were on special so we split a dozen. They were fresh as can be. We ordered alacart, as usually all you can eat is not really my thing. So we ordered a couple combos, sashimi and sushi. They all came quick served with miso soup and a small salad. Located on the corner of a small strip plaza the restaurant is clean and modern. They had many specials which I think are a good thing at any restaurant. Greeted by a friendly server who seated us at a table for 4 right at the front of the restaurant. We ordered Octopus Tempura, Chicken Teriyaki and Tonkatsu lunch specials, and Spider Rolls. The 2 specials came with an eggplant appetizer, edamame, miso soup, and green salad. These were all great and the salad dressing was very good. I had the pork cutlet which was a relatively thick piece of pork with a nice breading that was light and not greasy. The octopus was nicely breaded, cooked well, not too chewy. The spider rolls were ok but I've had better. The green tea was nice and water for my youngest daughter was served in a small plastic cup. I love little extras like this. All of the food was served on very nice Japanese dinnerware, unlike the melamine stuff you normally see at other places. Overall, service was really good, the server was very attentive and prices are fair, even considering it's Niagara Falls. This will be our new Japanese joint the next time we're back in town!

The meat is tender and seasoned well, sitting atop a bed of fresh greens and rice. The tempura was freshly deep fried with a light yet crispy batter. A variety of vegetables and shrimp to try. The udon was good as well. The noodles had a nice bounce and chew to them. The broth was flavorful without being overly salty. All in all, an amazing meal with great ambience at a higher price point.
