    Gamja Tang

Excellent food. Gamja Tang was very very good. One of the best ever. Its even better than Korea town Los Angeles. But they need to improve customer service. Happy Smiles greet would welcome more people and feel ease when entering. I also recommend uniform T shirt.

Don't be fooled by its appearance. At first glance this place screams warning! Big signs outside reads "All you can eat Korean BBQ, Open" that was enough to get my brother-in-law in the doors. I, on the other hand was skeptical with details and the facade of the restaurant. Weeds growing through the paver stone in the front of the building and no cars in the parking lot had me thinking this place is closed for business. I wasn't the only one unsure of our dining choice. I figured it the place doesn't care to keep up the appearance of its location then how much more do they care about their kitchen???? So I took a gambled on this place and to my surprise it paid off. The staff was accommodating to our large group and they were friendly. We did have their all you can eat BBQ. Everything was good and meats were fresh. I'm glad I followed my brother in laws intuition and hope to one day return.

As far as I can tell, all restaurants in Niagara Falls are not very good and are overpriced. The food here was ok, but not the best examples of dishes that we eat frequently (soon tubu chigae and bibimbap). The banchan (side dishes) were very ordinary and three of the four were a type of kimchi (cabbage, cucumber, and radish) so there wasn't much to eat for my husband who doesn't like spicy food. And, as is typical for the area, it was expensive for what we ordered. There are small push buttons the tables to get the attention of the servers. Service was a bit on the slow side considering the place was empty. On the plus side, the people who work here were very nice.

My family loves Korean food and we eat it whenever we get a chance so we know good Korean food. The food here is just ok. It's not nasty, but we've definitely had better. 3 of us had the chicken Bibimbop, 1 had the Bulgogi, and 1 didn't like the dumpling soup but enjoyed the tempura shrimp. We all had Miso Soup and it wasn't that good. This place is good if you want Korean and you're really hungry and you're really close to this place. This is how we stumbled across it. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

Avoid if u can! Worst korean bbq ever! Its so over price like seeing over price. 59 for king kalbi the sizzling plate aint even hot!! Are u kidding me??? Place looks so weird!! I've never seen a price of korean bbq that much all u can eat with limited quality of meats its a holiday 49 for all u can eat. I should've believed the reviews smh!

My husband and I were a bit "burger and fries" out so decided to look for some Asian places to eat. We passed by it early with our tour so decided to venture here for dinner. Since we came to visit Niagara Falls for our honeymoon and it's off season, the place was completely empty. We were the only ones there. After we ordered, there were maybe 2 more couples came to dine here. I wanted something soupy so I ordered tofu hotpot with dumplings and my husband ordered the King Kalbi. It was interesting that they have LA Kalbi and King Kalbi so my husband asked the wait staff what's the difference. Apparently LA Kalbi is more chewy while the King Kalbi is more tender considering it's one of the most expensive items on the menu. When the King Kalbi came, the aroma was amazing! I had a piece and it was really tender and tasty. It definitely live up the name as King Kalbi. After sampling the King Kalbi, my tofu hotpot was definitely very bland. The dumplings weren't great but again we didn't have high expectation. Overall, it was still very nice dinner. Service was quick so we were out in less than 45 minutes and were able to catch our shuttle back to the Fallsview hotel.

It sounds gimmicky, but it was actually really fun to watch and added something different to the whole experience. Service from the staff was still attentive and friendly, and the place had a nice, lively vibe without feeling chaotic. Definitely a spot I'd go back to if I'm in the area again.

We decided to do a la carte. We ordered the following: * strawberry spring - very refreshing and delicious. Doesn't taste like a lot of alcohol but it's definitely in there * salmon sashimi - some pieces were very frozen and after complaining, they gave us new pieces which were much fresher and less frozen * green dragon roll - wished this one had more sauce * chicken mono - this one had too much sauce and was overly too salty * bacon beef - a little dry and tough * raw oysters - a bit on the smaller side but still very fresh Overall the food was pretty decent for the price. I think this restaurant is worth checking out based on their customer service, clean and spacious area, and cheap prices. They also have cute little robots that bring you your food!

I needed a treat and luckily they were offering takeout. The idea of people handling my food during this health scare led to choose a restaurant where I could trust that a skilled chef was putting extra care into their food prep. And oh, did I hit the jackpot! The lady who took my order on the phone was super sweet. I ordered the Sashimi dinner and it was ready before I was. Her and Chef Koji were the only ones in the place when I picked up my order. For starters, the miso soup was hearty, the salad was spectacular and super fresh - the masago in the salad was a delightful surprise and lifted the salad to a whole other level. The rice was perfect and the sashimi fresh and beautiful. My only disappointment is that I couldn't enjoy this meal on real plates in the resto. I believe that sushi is an Art and it gets lost in our Western ideals of more bang-for-your-buck AYCE type dining. I am one of those people who enjoys AYCE, for the variety. This place shows me that it's better to pay more $ for good quality food that makes my body feel good than go for AYCE and get mediocre food and eat more than my body really needs. We split into two tables of 7 and our server, a kind and pleasant young woman, handled us so professionally! Large groups are never easy given the number of orders and cutlery, not to mention we had an anaphylactic peanut allergy, but she managed us with grace and such warmth! Oftentimes, she would be juggling multiple plates but never failed to do so with a nice smile on her face. My table ordered two mango salads to share, with were served with complimentary shrimp chips. The salads were a decent portion, with lots of crunchy cashews and sweet apples and mangoes. We then ordered a few mains family-style - a green / emerald chicken curry (with no peanuts), a peanut-free chef's pad thai, a red curry, a pad see ew, and a fried rice. Everything was delicious but my personal favourites were the pad see ew (so flavourful and with good wok hei) and the emerald curry (their spiciest curry - which did pack a slight punch). The pad thai was good too, but good pad thai isn't that rare now. Finally, we ended with three mango sticky rices. The mango to rice ratio was amazing, with thick and plump mango slices on coconut-y, creamy rice. What an amazing meal! Would highly recommend and definitely come again.
