He scheduled the work for a couple weeks out, text notifications let me know when he would be arriving and he was able to complete everything within a few hours. David cut the replacement beautifully using PVC so there is no maintenance on it in the future and caulked / sealed up all points of exposure to rain. He was very efficient, kind, and answered all the questions I had since I'm learning to do these kinds of tasks on my own. The pricing was extremely competitive and there's no question that I'll have David back pretty soon for other jobs around my home that I'm not comfortable handling. The gate door and posts are leaning and uneven, and the gate that was installed was such poor quality that we ultimately had to pay another $500 to have someone else install a proper gate. That is an additional expense we should never have had to pay after already paying a premium price for a fence. The fence was also only given one coat of paint, and it is very noticeable. A second coat should have been applied, and the installer knew that. The finish is uneven and does not look like the quality of work you would expect from a company charging what they charge. We also discovered that the wrong type of nails were used, which is extremely concerning because it can affect the longevity of the fence. When you're paying top dollar for a fence, you shouldn't have to worry about whether the proper materials and installation methods were used. The biggest issue, however, is the warranty. They claim to stand behind their work, but when we brought these problems to their attention, they did not stand behind the work the way we expected them to. At this point, we've paid premium pricing, been left with poor craftsmanship and questionable material choices, and then had to spend another $500 out of pocket to correct part of the work. If you were considering them, DON'T! I strongly recommend asking exactly what materials will be used, and getting very clear information about what their warranty actually covers. For the amount of money we paid, we expected a fence that was straight, level, properly constructed, properly painted, and built to last. That is not what we received. Deck Doc just finished power washing, sanding and staining my deck, and I am 100% satisfied with…read moretheir work. I scheduled the work around last November, as I wanted my deck to be refinished and looking good for the full 2025 season. The first days with decent weather in late April the deck was washed, and by early May the deck was finished. A crew of 2 worked a full day power washing and bleaching the deck and 2 sections of yard fencing. Every part of the deck was thoroughly cleaned, including areas not normally visible, and all areas of the deck that were surrounded by bushes. Within about a week, as soon as we had a few sunny days and warmer weather, a crew of three worked a full day sanding and staining the deck and fence. The deck floor was power sanded, and all other surfaces were hand sanded, before all sawdust was carefully blown away and stain was applied.
