For a $115 detailing I would expect a more detailed cleaning than this, not a half ass job cleaning. Idk if the rag they used was dirty or what solution it was, but when we drove late last night the windshield was so smudgy, it was hard to see! They also did not clean the windows in the back at all its full of finger prints and smudge. Majority of the time I detail our own car, but we are so busy and I do not have my tools to do the job myself as we were staying with the family and in route to our next duty station. The car has to passed the inspection to be able to ship it to my husbands next military duty station, is the main reason we called this detailing company, and now we have so much to touch up still! Theres also some crevices where the captain seating slide back and forth thats not at all been cleaned out. It is so dirty, full of crumbs, and they told my husband they cant get it because theres some grease! For a detailing company, I would expect them to have more tools to get the job done their customer needs. My in laws thought of going thru them to get some detailing, but changed their mind after seeing how they did. We do not recommend this detailing company! The transaction is under my husbands information not under my name incase the owner of this place tries to verify it.

I was in the beginning stretch of a cross country rode trip when my car started acting funny and the check engine light had turned on. I pulled off the highway and stopped immediately at the first mechanic I could find. They ran the computer to find out that it was the catalytic converter BUT I knew enough to know that just the computer test is not a definite. They guy at the first place I stopped was super pushy (told me I had to make the decision now or they wouldn't get the part), quoted me at over 800 dollars and the other mechanics there were all talking rudely to each other and didn't seem to care about each other or their customers. I got an extremely bad vibe so I looked up a couple places and found Hillside Service center. I called them up and he eased my mind immediately! He asked if they had done a smoke test or a pressure test to make sure it was the catalytic converter and they had not. He asked me if I could make it to him and he would check all of that for me. I am so happy I trusted my gut and found Hillside Service center! It did turn out to be the catalytic converter, unfortunately, but he quoted me at a much more reasonable price and he replaced my spark plugs for free. The whole process + labor time took less than a couple hours and I was back on the road heading to California. At the time, I was scared being alone on a road trip and upset about how much this all was costing. With my nerves all over the place, I found myself crying in the parking lot while trying to figure out funds to afford the work. And I cannot express how grateful I was for the father and son at hillside service center. They made me feel as much at ease as was possible in that moment. He could probably tell I was flustered so while his son worked on the car he made an effort to to have a nice conversation with me. His overt friendliness did not go unnoticed! These two men are extremely honest, hardworking mechanics and I could tell the second he picked up the phone for me. The waiting room was clean and accommodating. The way they interact with each other and their customers shows that they put love and respect into their work and their business. I will probably never find myself in Lock Haven, PA or at Hillside again but I'm so grateful that I did that day. Thank you!!

After numerous calls we were told July 31, now told August 4. The person at the desk was not very customer oriented. 3 weeks to repair a car is outrageous. We were also told by the manager that they would keep us updated as to progress, never heard a peep from them.

I had the recent misfortune of an unexpected flat tire while in Lock Haven, and the good fortune to…read moretake my car to the Steve Shannon shop in town. The team was super courteous and HONEST. They fit me in with zero notice and the vehicle was comple in 90 minutes. When I dropped the car off I clearly stated "Do whatever you have to do--go ahead and replace the tire if needed and just call me when it's ready." What could have easily been an easy $250 new tire (and I was OK with that possibility) was a $30 repair even though the tire was near the end of its service life. I appreciate that kind of honesty and will be sure to let my Lock Haven friends know. I hope I don't need to visit the shop again soon, but I know I'll have a good experience if I return.

He did not have one on stock and after realizing I was just passing thru he dispatched a driver to another city to get a replacement tire. 4 hours from start to finish was was on the way again.
