When asked what it needed for inspection he lied and said front rotors and brakes. My father was very adamant about looking under the vehicle for rust and he found no visible rust. So we bought it. We took it to get inspected and it didn't need front brakes or rotors however come to find out that under the plastic cover under the vehicle the rocker arm panels were rust so severely that it just crumbled away. It also needs a whole entire exhaust system too. So now I have a car that I have to put an addition $1000 dollars for parts and labor to make it legal to drive on the road. These people are crooks and I'd never recomend buying anything from them. On a side note I also believe there may be something illegal going on there. The day we were there ,there was a very familiar odor coming from the place. They left the door propped open the whole entire time we were doing our paper work and it was literally freezing in there because it was so cold outside.

Claiming they could replace/repair a transmission I waited over two months to get my car back which didn't even make it out of the parking lot before issues. They claimed engine trouble so I had the vehicle taken to another garage who verified it is the transmission and that they broke other parts that were installed on the vehicle. Five times I had to return the vehicle that is "under warranty" to be corrected. They stopped answering there phone or returning messages left on there machine. The last time I picked it up it made it about 1 mile before it was evident that they did not do anything besides clear codes and kick it out the door. And the best thing is that I get a message from the property owner to remove my vehicle from her property because like thieves in the night they close there doors leave no forwarding address and are possible out of business. But if they are open I would not take anything to them. Don't make the mistake I made, if these people rep open at another location there just going to scam and run again.

I reaffirmed I'm not from here, so I was just reading the address off of my phone because I am not familiar with the area. He then hung up on me, and then called back, basically yelling at me to tell me that the driver had already been here multiple times so if I want to ride, it's gonna be more money. I said just never mind and he said all right then goodbye and just hung up the phone. The level of disrespect and condescension when he was talking to me was absolutely disgusting.

The dead SUV and myself are on the way to Walmart to get a new battery. 11:30 pm Resurrected Nissan and myself are pulling out of the lot of Iceman Towing and on the way home. After a mechanic replaced the alternator and battery terminals, less than a week later, another breakdown. I called Iceman the next morning and he scooped it up and took it back to his shop. Now, although 40 miles away, the communication was as smooth and effective as the couple hours I spent with him just a few days before. I owe him a helluva lot more than he charged me. Class-act, talented and personable guy with the knowledge and problem-solving skills that make him perfect for doing what he does.

Had them replace an alternator on my car only to find…read moreout after less than 50 miles the used Remanufactured unit they charged me $256.30 for the unit, while the local parts stores charge $125.00 for a brand new one designed to fit the car. Now that they used a defective unit to save themselves money, the alternator overcharged my electrical system ruining my car. Now I can't get to work. I'll be pursuing legal recourse against Dans Gulf as soon as I get the car back from being evaluated by other authorized mechanics for the total damage they performed on my car. See you in court!
