I requested the services of Dan's Pest Management to get rid of ants that had been infesting the bathroom and living room. They were very kind and patient in explaining the products they used. They also gave me a more than reasonable quote that covered both inside and outside pests. Since I didn't think I would have to keep a pest company on retainer, and the pest problem was only moderate, Dan's was kind enough to offer service on a bi-monthly basis, and not bind me to a contract. Ironically, I have kept their service thereafter anyway, because they have made sure that my pest problem is non-existent. What I also love about this service is that aside from their visit every two months, they will come at your request if you experience a resurgence of pests in between your visits. This is without an extra charge -- which is quite considerate of them. For example, I noticed a hornet's net on my roof, and they were able to make it there within the day and remove it. Lastly, Dan's also has a kind and personable approach to their service. Dan and his employees are very sweet and considerate of you, your family, and your home. So I have had some lingering issues with sugar ants and Dan cane over to deal with them again for free. We decided to look in my pantry to see if they had gotten in there. He found moths and rice weevils. He told me to clean out the pantry and then he could come back and help out with spraying. He walked to his truck, realized that he was open for the and he came back and helped me clean out my entire pantry! Thank goodness he did because I would have left so many bugs and cocoons in there if he hadn't helped me. He spent over an hour in my house pulling everything out and once we got it wiped out, he sprayed it down. All as part of his regular service! I'm very happy that I called Dan's Pest control. They were able to schedule me in fairly quick. I was fed up with the ant problem at our home, it's been about a month since they came out to spray & the ants only came back once. When I called them about the ants coming back they immediately followed up & came back to fix the problem. We've had no ant issues since then. We were told to call them back anytime we see the pests in our home return, since sometimes it'll take reexposing the pests to the chemicals in order for these to completely go away. This is our go to pest people! We use their services bi-monthly and they are so thorough with their work. They spray the exterior of the home and the fence and their products haven't been harmful to our dogs. They also thoroughly spray the interior and make sure to ask us each time if we have any problem areas so that they can focus on those areas more. Dan is awesome!! I just moved into a new house and I was really struggling getting everything done. I really wanted to get my house sprayed and put on a service, but I did not have a lot of time to do it. I reached out to Dan through Yelp and he responded in seconds...that is not an exaggeration- it was seconds. He told me his prices, but was more interested in getting my business and was willing to do anything. It was 4pm and I only had that day off, so I took a shot in the dark and asked if they could do my house that day. He responded back that someone would be at my house before dark. He and his team take their time making sure all areas are covered and all spider webs are removed. He also takes time to explain the situation to customers in a professional manner. Dan is very knowledgeable in what he does and one of the few that still use a truck mounted power spray to cover properly and uses the best product. His prices are very reasonable for what you get compared to some of the other "bigger brand" companies which I've also used in the past that just want a subscription for mediocre service. After Dan sprayed my backyard for the first time there was a huge black widow spider that was revealed on the concrete dying. Poor flexibility on behalf of owner Dan. After multiple conversations where I've explained to Dan that my schedule at work (0700-1700) does not allow me to book appointments Mondays through Thursdays, he continues to try and schedule my service appointments for times outside of what i can do. I've repeatedly told Dan my best day for availability is anytime on Fridays and I would be willing to schedule weeks in advance if that helped him with his scheduling. On several occasions this flexibility was honored , however, only after going back and forth with dates. Today I received a call from Dan himself to schedule my next service date. I again tell him im only available Fridays and possibly the later part of Thursdays. Dan was attempting to schedule me for Monday. After explaining i was not available, Dan proceeds to tell me that he does not like to schedule his "guys" to work on Thursdays or Fridays because he want's to be "nice" and give them those days off. I thanked Dan for his service and told him I would look elsewhere for future pest control service. As a first responder who works nights I find it very hard to make appointments during normal business hours since that is my time to sleep. I would love to be able to have a normal schedule and not lose out on opportunities because of my vital work. It does not seem that Dan is an understanding person on this matter and that is a slap in the face to ppl such as first responders who stay awake at all hours of the night. I'm not saying Dan needs to over work or mistreat his employee's but a job is a job. You're not there to be their best friend. If other work industries provide services Monday through Friday, then i think your small time pest control business can put on their big boy pants and work those days too.
