I wish I could leave zero stars for the zero service i got from these guys. My home warranty plan called this incompetent company out and they might as well have called no one. A tech came and told me that he didn't have the parts for my door locks-fine. They never reached back to me, never returned emails, calls, or any communications from American Home Shield. Finally a month and a half later after being contacted by AHS, they emailed me saying that they can't get the parts from my door manufacturer and that they're closing my service request. Thanks for making me wait almost 2 months for nothing with no communication whatsoever. read more

He came to my house as the last appt for the day and stayed until all of our locks were re-key'd for the new property. Including our driveway gate which he had to drill and refit. He also setup a keypad lock for our entrance door. He was kind, smart and did a quality job. A year later, I looked for their info to call them back for another job. My rating would have been a 5-star, but my locksmith was running way behind. After 35 minutes past the appointment time, I called him & left a message. An hour and 15 minutes past the appointment time he called and apologized and said he was on his way. About 45 minutes he arrived and explained that he takes many jobs in many areas. However, once there, he was personable, polite, and efficiently changed my locks & gave me 4 new keys. Except for being so late, he did a great job. read more

I requested a Re-Key service through my home warranty and was assigned to Dan's Pro-lock. Kyle was the locksmith and his service was decent. There were multiple unexpected expenses, which was disappointing even after paying $100 through the warranty provider. The locks were functional prior to the re-key, so this was surprising to hear. However, Kyle was a professional and explained the issues with the locks and tried to fix things without charging me for entirely new parts. One improvement I would recommend is making the prices of additional latches or lock bodies more transparent and readily available. I would also provide a receipt of transition immediately following the service - I never received a receipt. read more

Got rekeyed in December and ever since my Kwikset lock has not worked consistently and now the key does not turn it at all. I have emailed the company twice in the last two months and no response. They were sent out by American Home shield to rekey my new home. read more

Pro-lock in Southern California (LA area) - technician Donald did a Fantastic job. To begin, when setting up the service you're actually doing it through text messages and you are speaking to a live person. The text messages were so professionally done that I actually thought I was actually speaking to a robot but they were very responsive in finding a time that works best for me. On the day that the service was scheduled, I received a text message with a link to a map that shows where the technician is so you can actually track the commute and so it was good to see their arrival time so accurately. Our technician was Donald, he arrived in the robot a window, he went straight to work. He was honest in letting us know what locks we needed and ones we actually didn't. He was fast and yet he took the time to explain about our front door lock that had a unique challenge to it. He was able to disassemble it, lubricate all the pieces and put it back together again working much better than before and now with a brand new key! Great job, Donald and Thank you! read more

The technician was knowledgeable and kind. Good quick service. Rekeyed 5 locks in about 15 mins. My only "complaint" is that the window is too large...4 hrs 10:30-2:30. There was communication about the tech possibly being late (which he wasn't) and his eta so I do appreciate that. read more

I didn't have good experience with them. They changed only one out of 3 locks for my home. They don't pick up the call nor call me back. Zero response. Very unprofessional. Update: After followup they sent a locksmith another time and this time everything was handled properly. read more
