Called for an estimate for several landscaping projects. I was instructed to "take pictures" and text them and they would send me an estimate. Then, if you are deemed worthy, they would come out to do the "real" estimate. What?? I got no impression that they were interested in or working for our business. That has to be the most extreme version of cherry-picking I've ever heard. Judging by this first impression I wonder what kind of work they would do. I had Daniel remove ivy from my rear yard about 5 years ago. He gave me a quote and said he would probably bring help to do the job. He did not bring any help but worked hard so I gave him what he quoted plus a tip. Just today he stopped by our house and gave me 31% of that money back saying he didn't think he should have accepted all the money from me. What? An ethical contractor! We planned the orientation of the shed then he dug out the area, made it level, put on landscaping fabric then covered it with gravel, all in one day by himself. Such a hard worker! Dan did a great job on our bamboo removal. Bamboo is tough to get rid of and so far everything seems to be good. Be aware, bamboo removal is very labor intensive and requires excavating a large amount of soil. A word of advice...NEVER PLANT BAMBOO! EVER! Even if you think your above ground planters will contain it, it won't! Our relationship with our neighbors is very stressed because they planted bamboo and it grew under the fence and invaded our property, ruining our fence and yard. Thanks Dan! read more

Double check prices. Originally informed that a small grinding and tilling job was to be "about $400.00" the price mysteriously ballooned to $1200.00 for probably two to three hours work. My lawyer should be as well compensated. read more

Danshap did a great job putting in three dry wells around our property. We experienced some challenges with an existing french drain system after Danshap performed their work and they were quick to respond. They came back at no charge and extended the dry well in question and did a great job. The owner even went as far as being willing to reimburse for an expense that wasn't his responsibility. I declined and asked to post this review. The work was completed to my complete satisfaction and they went above and beyond to ensure I was a satisfied client.
