A bright, inviting space right in the heart of downtown Littleton

I recently came to Daphne's after watching their progress on social media for quite some time. I love that this husband/wife duo is revitalizing a whole corner of downtown with some much needed businesses! Parking was a breeze even on a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend. There's street parking out front or a huge lot across the street. We were lucky to beat the crowd when we first got there, but it filled up really quickly after we ordered. I love how they've decorated the inside, and there's a good amount of seating for the space. Everything in the pastry cabinet looked delicious, so we ordered just about one of everything. My favorites were the blondie and the Reese's cookie, but really you can't go wrong. You can tell they are homemade and honestly some of the best cookies I've had in a while (and they are HUGE). I also ordered an iced vanilla latte with 2% milk which was perfect and not too sweet. I didn't see if they have any milk alternatives, and they didn't have any tea options like chai for those that aren't big coffee fans. I really appreciate that they use cups made with recycled material and their straws are actually made from pasta to cut on waste! It's the little things sometimes. I'm so grateful this shop is here for weekends at Lake Gaston, and I can't wait to check out Blue Jay Bistro once they open a couple doors down (also owned by the same sweet couple)!

Stumbled upon Daphne's during our week in on the lake and so glad we did! Very quaint coffee shop on the Main Street of Littleton. It is very small so I took my order to go. I ordered an iced coffee the first day and it was great I came back a few times during the week! They also have a large assortment of pastries. Bonus there's a wine shop connected to the coffee shop! Would recommend if you're in the area and want some small town coffee shop vibes.

    Boxed so pretty!

To have this much pastry talent in Wake Forest is an incredible stroke of luck. Do yourself a favor take a quick ride down Main St. and in that unassuming retail/commercial center by the license plate office you and your tastebuds will be whisked away to far off lands of flakey dough, creamery butter and just enough sugar to make it delicately sweet. You will love everything you try. I especially recommend the Pistachio Baklava Cheesecake! Enjoy!
