Brenda, (at the front), is so friendly- sets up appointments, reassures walk-ins & gives a good time estimate, then she helps get you setup with the right stylist to do your cut or style, and she makes the best drinks! If you're having a bad week, definitely get the Old Fashioned! I've went to hairstylist Alejandra BOTH times for my services (1st: A layered cut with my hair straightened afterwards, & 8/6: I came specifically for a B3 treatment and ended up adding a detox and massage for my scalp- worth it!!!). She goes above and beyond expectations! I've been twice for deep conditioning of my naturally frizzy, wavy hair. I love how silky my hair looks and feels afterwards. The hair therapy includes a scalp massage and a relaxing heat dome for about thirty minutes. Most clients return to the same stylist. Mine's Stephanie! Super friendly and with a fun hairstyle herself. They're all personable and accommodating. I already left a review and brag endlessly to anyone I meet about this place. I just wanted to remind everyone who reads this that Dapper & Dashin is the absolute BEST place for some self care. I've been going for over a year or so and I've NEVER seen a grumpy face or have been met with anything but warmth and smiles when I go. Every stylist there whips around the tools like they're an extension of their arms. Everybody walks out looking fresh and smiling. AND they've started offering facial and conditioning treatments at a fraction of the spas around. If you're looking for the classic barber shop feel with great style you absolutely belong here. I took my daughters here and had the absolute worst experience. They wanted literally double the price of what was quoted at the beginning- told me you can't do partial highlights once you've had full highlights... hmmmm.... That is not true. Highlights took several hours- I think the stylist needed assistance after making an error. The manager was nice and tried to help but when the owner showed up he was really rude. I was quite embarrassed and even another patron apologized to me (said he travels and likes to stop here but he watched our exchange and just felt awful for us). read more

I was impressed with Dapper & Dashin' because they gave me a platform on the computer to explain my hair and attach photos of my hair front and back along with photos of what I wanted. This all took place before my appointment. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. My stylist was Trinity and she was so sweet and attentive. She spent a lot of time with me before she even began working on me which was impressive. I loved the creative coloring and was thrilled that her cut and styling was exactly what I wanted. EXACTLY!!! The salon was pretty yet also masculine for their male clients. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. I was so happy and I highly recommend it. Remember..."you get what you pay for". Pretty good. Hair cuts were nice and the barber followed what I said exactly. There is so many barbers who can't take direction. This place is underrated and I hope it last. The unfortunate thing is that it is in a town that's style is stuck in the early 2000s. I feel like this place would thrive in somewhere like Austin, TX or even a bigger city up north. Just moved to Texas a couple weeks ago and was concerned about how many hairdressers I'd go through before finding the one that understands what I'm looking for, I wear my hair colored and very short pixie style. i went for a haircut because my original stylist canceled so I found this salon and they had good reviews, mind you I'm very very picky when it comes to my hair but I trusted the reviews and everything, the staff was super friendly and sweet, my visit was pleasant BUT my haircut came out terrible, my hair was pretty lengthy and i asked for a cut about below my shoulders and some layers, she curled it and it was super pretty at the salon, i paid/tipped left, later at home I washed it and straightened it and the layers were literally chopped, and it was uneven everywhere longer pieces in the front and bluntly cut hair on the side, I'm very upset because i paid 101 in total, just to have to go schedule another appointment to fix what she did, it's very inconvenient to my time and money because she didn't know how to properly cut hair. read more
