They then asked for more money that originally agreed to. Because I am too trusting of a person, I paid them via Venmo. A friend went by the house after and said the cleaning was hardly done and that they had missed two entire sections of the house - the carpeted attic and a basement room. He ended up vacuuming and cleaning the house again. I made a few mistakes here: first, not going with a Yelp guaranteed business, because now I cannot get my money back. Second, sending money without verifying what they did. I asked them for less than half of the money back (I would like to use that for a gift certificate for my friend doing their cleaning work), but they refused any refund at all. SCAMMER. I gave detailed instructions on what would need to be cleaned and was given a quote. She…read moretried to change the price of the quote AFTER securing a deposit from me. She was called out and then went back to the original quote. She canceled the cleaning because it was "sprinkling" outside. Gave me a window for arrival the next day, and then gave me a new window (as if she didn't remember what she had said previously). I walked her around the house and she stated she was comfortable with everything. I left to go to work and SHE LEFT BEFORE CLEANING ANYTHING. My daughter was home and contacted me to ask why nothing had been cleaned. When contacted she said she didn't feel comfortable going downstairs. The same downstairs we walked through. Claimed she had asked if I had a dog and that I lied. She never asked. He doesn't even shed btw. Claimed there was urine and there was none. He tinkled when she first arrived (which I cleaned up). She was paid to hang up clothes (claimed I said there were only ten pieces and that is another conversation that NEVER happened) and put away dishes (and didn't because she said they were dirty and it was run the evening before). I have detailed photos of every space in the house. She didn't clean a thing. Not appliances, not countertops, not sinks, not floors, not mirrors, not showers, not toilets.
